For the price you can’t go wrong
This thing feels like it will last many many years. It’s feels like it’s made from the same type of material as the brown duck carhart bibs and jackets and that stuff is tough. I was on the fence between this one and another that was much more expensive and a friend has this one. Usually you get what you pay for but in this case I really feel like this one will last much longer. It feels a little heavier but the trade off is I need it to go through briars, bob wire fences and so on so a few more ounces is worth it for the durability. The only thing in my opinion that should be improved is the” spare blade holder” the blade has room to move around a lot more than I would like. If it has too much play it could eventually saw into the sheath. My opinion is they made it so you could put much wider blades in but for the boreal 21” it’s way wider than I would like. The top folds over nicely to cover the head of your hatchet or smaller axe which is nice but you still need something to cover the blade to protect you when it’s slung over your shoulder if your axe is sharp as it should be. This is no issue for me my axe has a small leather sheath that covers the blade. It feels great on your shoulder which is the way I carry it but also you have the option to take off the strap and connect it to you pack. The extra pocket for a knife is a good option but I always carry my knife on my belt so I use it for my axe sharpening tools in case I need to strop or I chip my blade in the field. I did notice a few places where the stitching was loose but a quick touch with a bic lighter solved it nicely. I don’t think it will cause any issues but I am using it a lot so if anything changes I will update. In case anyone is interested in waterproofing I used a block of bees wax. Rub it on an area then use a hairdryer to turn to a liquid then it soaks in. Then move to another spot till you have the whole thing done. It changes the color just a little but I think it looks better. When I used it in the rain I could see the water beading up and rolling off. This may be overkill for some but I use it in the rain a lot and am a firm believer in take care of your tools and they will take care of you. Hope this helps someone on the fence about this item. I think you will be happy with the quality for the price.

Perfect Sling -
This sling is exactly what I wanted and needed. I have a folding saw, short handle medium ax, folding knife and primitive fire starter for preparing a fire while camping or in a cased of an emergency. This sling holds each of these items very well.It is heavy duty canvas and holds all my items securely. I am very pleased with this sling.Perfect for the camp trailer or backpacking adventures.

Seems worth the money.
I haven’t gotten it out in the woods yet, so this is just my first impressions.Decent canvas. I’m planning on waxing it with otter wax to waterproof it a bit.The shoulder sling is a bit sub par, but easy enough to replace. It fits my Silky Bigboy 2000 as well as my Coughlan 21” saw (it actually easily holds both at the same time), and there’s plenty of room for a spare blade or 3.It nicely fits my Hultafors hunting axe. There’s nothing on it that states where it was made, so it’s probably made in China. That’s a big check in the minus column for me and I’m kicking myself for not checking before I purchased it. Mea Culpa. All in all, it seems like it might have been worth the money and I look forward to bringing it into the woods this weekend after I wax it.

good sturdy cotton canvas
I was a little worried that it wasn't made from cotton canvas, but it was. so i was able to treat it with beeswax to waterproof it. perfect bag for my Spring Creek folding saw.

Durable axe or folding saw case
We use this for our boundary water trips. It holds folding saws, blades, hatchets, or a mid size axe. You can also put fillet knives in the exterior pouch. It’s made of a strong canvas material and it hols up well. My brother and I both bought one and they definitely get used and we both like them.

Saw & axe carrier
Nice thick canvas material. It seems well built . For the price its better than some other more expensive options. The only thing I feel would make it better would be maybe some webbing or attachment points to mount it to a pack easier. I will be buying more though
