Pennington One Step Complete Bermudagrass Seed, Mulch, Fertilizer 10 lb

It took 14 days to start growing, but once it did , it is doing great! I will definately buy again. Most all seems to have come up

I’ve planted lawns for over 50 years without a problem. I bought this product because it advertised an easier way to do a complete seeding method. Despite a torn rotator cuff and bicep tendon tear I proceeded to tweezle the lawn to open the ground to give the product its best chance of success. I kept it wet all the time and nothing appeared after a month. I read the reviews and discovered about 37% of others had the same result. How dare a product be advertised with such an incredibly dismal success rate. How could Amazon allow such a product to be sold on its site. I called Pennington to get a refund and chastise them for selling this failed product and to complain that I had worked my way through planting the product despite my injuries. They said I had to return the three empty bags to get a refund. There was no offer, of course, to refund me for the work I put in with this worthless product. Who keeps empty bags once they have been used when one expects a product to work. I had one of the bags, a third of seed left, and they said they would refund its cost but only 50% of the two bags I had thrown away. I told them I would contact Amazon for a better response though they told me I would get the same result from them. Despite their admonition, I got a full refund through Amazon. Again, I admonish Amazon for allowing this product to be sold through them and suggest they remove it hereafter. Pennington should be ashamed of themselves. They knew they were selling a highly defective product and that customers would not only have had to request a refund but also have had to have worked hard to administer it to no effect. Scotts, here I come.

Purchased: April and June Pennington One Step Complete grass seeds. Oh my goodness🙂I'm in love🥰with this product. It's so easy to spread. I didn't use my portable spreader. I put on a pair plastic gloves and imagined🙄I was feeding chickens🐔😂. Going along spreading seeds evenly. Sprayed water lightly over seeds enough to moisten. Seeds should lay where you spread them, if no water run offs, caused by overwatering🤞. I lightly spray water on seeds 3 to 4 times every day, until grass is long enough to increase amount of water. Decided to enclose my small yard by putting soil on edges, so grass could look like a rice field. I have very hard clay soil so, water didn't set on top of ground too long for all the times watering😊. I want grass to be deep, so, mowing with manual push mower or whacker, may never be done. Presently trimming grass a little with hand trimmer. BERMUDA GRASS seeds great for Texas zone.Grass has these long stems🌾 that pop up. Grass was 2 or 3 inches when I noticed them. I did trim yard and left all clippings where they laid. Y'all I'm 73 and single so I do everything by myself, and it's a chore, but very satisfied and rewarding when I've finished trimming yard😅, Thank God... I use wide leaf rake to even out trimmings over yard. I love💚Miracle Grow😁. Sprinkled this on yard. Then, sprayed water lightly. A lady delivering things to me was amazed, commented how green and beautiful my grass is...🎯GREAT CONVENIENCE👉cause seeds has Fertilizer and Mulch already mixed in it. I feed wild birds, hummingbirds too.The ground feeding birds don't appear to have an interest in tasting the grass seeds. I'm a beginner,and always online researching lawn care and doing what suits my needs and creativity. Preparing my soil (prior) to applying grass seeds, took Grub(pest) care. Bad little🤨critters. Hope my information has been helpful. These Bermuda seeds are worth the price. Yes I would recommend this product to everyone.

Grass did not come in as quickly as they said it would it took several months before I seen anything currently, it’s in patches, not quite satisfied, verdict still out

Bermuda seed is so fine it looks like flour. So 2% seed is a significant amount of seed. I’ve bought 2-3 a year for 3-4 years to repair dog damage each spring. The biggest issue is that the seed settles out of the mix over time, and the course mulch come to the top. I empty the bag into a 5 gallon bucket and mix it with a flat trowel. I get decent results after evenly spreading it with good soil contact mid April here in Phoenix. It’s not perfect, but way easier than resodding the damage. I water for 5 min 3 times a day. Works for me.

Hate leaving a bad review but I saw no result no grass grew and grass seed isn’t cheap these days.

This grass seed is very easy to grow and grow just about anywhere if you keep it watered for the first few weeks don’t let the completely dry out I put the sprinklers on also used straw I watered sometimes three times a day but now that it is sprouted and turned into grass only if no rain I like this grass because it will take a beating dogs, kids and and a whole lot more it spreading really good it does turn brown in winter goes dormant but it comes back if you have a bad area and you need grass this is it highly recommend

I turned over the soil in my yard distributed the “seeds” ( which are not pure seeds but some sort of mulch.) I been watering daily for over a month now and just a few grasses sprouted only. There are so many seeds that didn’t sprout. Waste of money.
