Doesn't work for what I wanted.
The large eye needles are WAY too BIG for embroidery, even the smallest of the large eyes. And the self threading needles are WAY too SMALL to fit even 3 string embroidery floss, absolutely impossible for all 6 strings. The only thing worth it in this whole little kit was the two cases. They are cute and both very unique. But I'm giving ALL of the needles away to my sister who is a seamstress. Maybe she'll have use for them, but they are no good for me.

Beautiful and functional
I love the engraved needle cases as well as the quantity and quality of the needles themselves. Perhaps the embroidery/large eye needles are a little larger and their points duller than I imagined but I will use them anyway. This is a great set for the price!

Could not get the needles to thread
The little wooden boxes are lovely, but I couldn't get the needles to thread no matter how I tried. I'm going to refill the boxes with the other type of self-threading needles (the kind with the opening on the side).

Awesome
Exactly what I was looking for and I love the tube cases they are stored in. These needles are great for everything I sew by hand. I don't have to worry about them breaking or sticking myself trying to thread them and the different sizes are perfect.

Good self threading Needles
Needles worked great getting my embrodiery yarn through the heads. Have not used for hand sewing as yet, but I am sure they will be very helpful.

Needles break the thread
These needles are worthless. Nearly all of them break when trying to thread them. Or, they break the thread.

Love these wooden needle holders.. The best thing I could of done to store all of my yarn needles in.. I’m always losing them.. Their very attractive as well.. Serves the purpose...

Great for keeping needles in for travel
I bought this as a gift for my mother and she just loves it. Said it was great for putting her sewing needles in when she is traveling.
