Has a really strong chemical odor which has not yet dissipated. Sound is noticably inferior to the $750 clarinet I rented but chose not to buy from the music store, but it's not bad. My kid's fingers got scratched by a sharp 1/8" long metal burr on the key apparatus; I filed it down smooth, and then another spur in a different spot got him again.

Beautiful wood clarinet for a great price. Nice rich sound and smooth keypress action as well. Can’t speak to longevity yet, but appears solidly built, so fingers crossed

This instrument is NOT worth the money it is poorly made therefore bad sound quality. The mid level B and C natural keys do not work like the padding is bad but it is supposed to be new. Don’t waste your money. Spend a little more and get a clarinet that works. This product is not good for clarinet players on ALL levels because the clarinet is poorly made.

Music has always been an important part of our family and learning instruments is such a wonderful skill. I got this clarinet and have been able to inspect it thoroughly. It is a fine instrument and has extra reeds as well. It was easy to assemble and has a space for each part in the case.
