Bubba Rope176745 Tow Rope and Strap

While I'm not crazy about dropping $50+ dollars on a single shackle, this one was worth the money. I had to buy this shackle because the front tow hooks on my 2000 F-250 are completely useless until you buy one of these!! First time out I had this connecting a 30ft strap to my 6,500lb Superduty which was hooked to a 6,000lb trailer with 5,500lb load on the trailer so 19,000lbs on soft ground with a slight uphill grade and a friend's 1 ton truck on the other end of the 30ft strap. With both trucks pulling the whole load came up the hill without destroying the yard. I had only heard of Bubba Rope online and in magazines. After using one I would recommend one to anyone, and doing recreational four wheeling and off-road recovery I'm VERY picky about my tools, THIS tool passes the test.In a second situation, I have also used this to attach a winch to the front of my truck. I was buried in mud to the axles and had to call a friend with a big winch. Again, hooked this into the front tow hook, turn the shackle so the abrasion guard was facing out, hooked the winch cable at the guard and pulled my truck up the hill with no problem.

High quality and work great for the intended use

I’ve used this to anchor my MR2 and pull it up an incline cause another strap broke. Needed it as a backup in case the come along broke. Well, the come along did break and it held the car in place just fine.

Great soft shackle. Perfect for when you need a D shackle but it doesn't fit. Nice sice to fit in pretty much on hole to properly recover a stuck car. I always take these with me for off roading and haven't failed me. Use them on FJ Cruisers, Jeeps, Rangers, Colorados, F150s and others

High quality made in USA isn't something you see a lot of these days, but these soft shackles are very well made and a lot safer than metal D rings. Also quicker to setup, lighter weight to store.

These really do grip and make it easy to hook up a recovery strap to two vehicles. I was skeptical that something so simple could work so very well. I don't know about the ultimate strength, my needs have been pretty light but it has held every time.

Had to use them to get my truck unstuck from a ditch and they worked perfectly. I used them to join several snatch straps. They are quick and easy to use and are super light so they are much safer than metal shackles. They are easy to undo regardless of tightly they were pulled because they do not work like knots. These are a must have.Pricey but worth it.
