I bought this book because I did a 5 week accelerated coarse for EMT in Arizona and felt discouraged because all the information was crammed . I bought this 2 weeks prior to my nationals and read through it twice and took the practice test twice as well. Theirs an electronic one that’s easier when you buy the book and it gives great explanations on the scenarios . I recommend this book for those who are taking NREMT and need the information to stick . Good luck !

This book is almost like Clift note it’s pretty straight to the point. The book I read in class was good but it would trail on for pages about one topic. This one you get the information you need in a paragraph or two with charts to help you narrow everything down. At the end there is a 150 question followed by the answer key with explanations for the answers usually being like a sentence or two long.

I purchased the "EMT Exam Review Secrets Study Guide."I rate this item a 5. A friend of mine recommended me this book as a study guide, and I can see why she would recommend me this book. I love the breakdowns and explanations it gives. It is very user-friendly, which is what I love the most! I have not taken the exam I am preparing for yet, but so far, this book is a good resource. I am a visual type of learner, and even though there are limited images in this book, I still appreciate the tables provided.

You get only what you put into it. If you want to do better on your NREMT. Get a prep book and use it! This is one of the best ones.
