It's good, it's worth having
It's a little black rubber outer with bouncy corners that'll provide "a good service" level of protection for your IPod (Which has now been discontinued and is going to become really rather very expensive to service or replace). It's nice and grippy to the touch so the IPod doesn't feel slippery or as easy to drop. It had a bit of rigid shell too, so spiky things in like keys in pockets and handbags shouldn't cause any damage to the device either. Very importantly the holes where the interfaces, speakers, cameras, lights and stereo jack are are both flexible rubber and big enough even for Non Apple Proprietary cables and whatnot. So you can have the cover on and not have to hassle about whether your alternative headphones will fit. It's very cool. All of the buttons (Volume, power and "the button" are all properly covered and are very clicky (tactile) so it doesn't dull the sensation of pressing buttons either.Given that it goes onto an IPod it doesn't need to be made of fireproof titanium, I expect it'll last well enough, but if something goes awry I'll update my review. It isn't easy to remove, one would need to unclip the rigid back then pry the rubber sleeve off of the IPod because the rubber "lip" is quite long, on the upside the rubber "lip" is quite long so it really covers the IPod well. This isn't a cover that comes with a screen protector, so there's no point in asking (As is done in the form where one writes the review) whether it protects the screen well, it doesn't protect the screen at all. To deal with that problem (unprotected Screen) I'd suggest getting a hardened glass screen protector. This cover is made of soft rubber in a rigid shell, so it works really well with the really thin glass screen protector.I'll give it a while and then update this review if anything changes.

This is the one to get, folks
For our iPod6, we originally ordered the supposed best Otter brand. It was about $20 here on Amazon, and was worthless. Only one of the four rubber buttons on the case actually pressed down on the iPod buttons. No matter how hard you pressed, iPod did not respond. So we tried this cheaper case. Easier to assemble than the Otter, and all buttons work easily. Great protective case.

I love this item and this seller
When I first received this iPod…i got so excited to get it going…I messed up getting it started and i locked it up. I got on with the compaany and they tried to walk me through it, but totally locked myself out. I said i would return it and they said they were putting another one in the mail to me. They were so helpful and nice. I sent mine back and received the new one the next day….its working great. Thanks everyone of the people at this seller

Package ripped open on arrival
Package arrived ripped open. Item was still inside unharmed. I’ve never had this happen before. Packages usually arrive sealed and in good condition. Was this a factory error or the delivery person’s error?

Easy to assemble, sturdy enough feeling
Just bought this for my new iPod touch 7th gen.TL;DR: It is what it says it is. Feels pretty good. Wish the rubber was a tad softer. The finish and feel on the case itself is very nice. It is a bit on the more slippery side but doesn't seem to be so much so that it'll slip right out of your hand so long as you have a good grip on it.The plastic bits that lock into each other feel like they definitely connected together (DO BE CAREFUL THOUGH, while taking it all apart so I could put it on my iPod, the plastic is VERY sharp.)I do wish the rubber cover was a little bit softer, I feel like it's a little too stiff but I can't tell nor am I willing to test this lol The case does have a nice raise lip all around the screen. The cable port was sized well enough for me to fit the cable that came with the iPod in. I can see how some people might have issues with the headphone jack, however I 99% use this in my car where it won't matter and the few times I do use headphones I would be using my airpods.

Can take a beating
I got this product to protect a new IPod Touch that I bough my Autistic 5 year old. He is into electronic and always wants to play with our phone, but he mostly got a kick of calling ppl and hanging up as he got a kick of the dial tones. Now with the IPod he can play all the games he wants (ABC Mouse, PBS Kids, Nick Jr. etc) without us having to worry about him calling ppl. The case helps absorb the impacts from him tossing the IPod when it does not give him what he wants, specially the calling feature. The product has held up and protected the IPod. I recommend the product and the seller. The package arrived on time and was safely delivered. It is easy to apply and to remove. I recommend the product and the seller.
