Very fresh and great taste - and a great price

Most people know this product and enjoy it, but this is a great treat size, and buying this bulk carton makes the cost really attractive. I think I've ordered this 8 times now, and the quality has always been consistent. Often put one on my wife's pillow in the evening!That kind of excuses the fact I eat 3 or 4!

This is one of my favorite candies. The combo of chocolate and mint can't be beat. There are several candies that use the same combo, but York has nailed the mint better than anyone else. It's refreshing without having too much of a bite, and the sweetness level is just right.The box has a flap that can be folded out to serve as a dispenser, which is convenient. The candies arrived in perfect, fresh condition.If you like chocolate and mint, it's hard to find something better than a Peppermint Patty. Five stars.

These are very, very good, taste delicious . It's so easy to spit up the box into quart ziplock bags to keep them safe till your next card night, Easter, Birthday party, Mother's day, Father's day ecc. They are a nice size, and the ex. Date is December 2025. They taste so fresh I have to make myself stop eating them.

York peppermint patties are my favorite. Just the right size for a satisfying sweet treat. Low in calorie but satisfying. Individually wrapped and the freshness is as if it was made just today.

However, they are NOT good for you. Make no mistake, you are buying a mass-produced food product with a focus on quantity over quality. It tastes good, but that also means it comes at the cost of extremely cheap ingredients.Distributed by Hershey Company in Hershey PA - manufactured in Mexico (that would explain the cheapness).You get 175 pcs individually wrapped for $18, which about comes out to $.12/pcs.The price is $.21/oz, as this is a 84 oz (5lbs 4 oz) container for $18. The price is acceptable, but the appalling lack of nutrients means this a coping food - not a staple product you should be enjoying on a regular basis. If you are rich enough to buy them, then you are rich enough to make them, so just make your own. Not unless you are giving them fish supplements or DHA+EPA supplements regularly.The beauty of the peppermint patty knockoffs you can produce yourselves is that you can substitute the extract for _anything_ you want instead! I made maple-filled chocolate patties and also orange-filled chocolates that more or less matched the gourmet feeling I was looking for - and you can do the same!Don't satisfy yourselves with the mediocrity of a popular commodity - shoot for the sense of accomplishment and make your own gourmet rarities (or oddities).
