Totally makes the cut for casual company. It's sturdy with a slight shine like correlle, rather than a pure-plastic tupperware kind of look. To me, the picture suggests the compartments almost slope toward the dip container, as though one might accidentally start a tiny-carrot avalanche, but no, it's all "one level," as you can see in my picture. Forgive the impromptu staging: new potatoes and cocktail sauce are definitely not the latest flavor profile, just what was handy to show scale.Note the center dip area is a bit small. Better for a pub-cheese container than the typical 8 oz dip. It's nicely designed with little "ears" to keep the dip container from sliding around, so a small glass bowl could work.

The picture speaks for itself with regards to the actual plate. Its unique design accentuated foods I was serving. It appears to be made of a hard glossy plastic. It cleaned easily and didn't get stained by the food. To note, however, it does feel like the type of plastic that will break when dropped. I have not tried that though.What made me want to leave a review was the excellent customer service that was offered to me. First, the item arrived extremely quickly. Second, when I will I asked about a bulk pricing order, the sellers responded quickly and were more than happy to work with me.Overall, it is a quality, unique product sold by a company with excellent customer service.

I ordered this for our vacation house to put taco fixings on. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something and I'm pleased with this purchase. It seems fairly strong and looks very nice as well. I think I will hand wash it just to avoid the high heat from the dishwasher, not sure if it would warp. I would definitely buy this again.
