I have issues with tare repeatability on this scale. While it tares quickly (<1 sec), it often fails to return to 0 when the weigh boat is removed and replaced. The scale often returns to a weight which is off by over 1 gm.

Will it work with a flair?

If your looking to use it under the spout of the flair prolly not. A jewelry scale would suit that need a bit better. If your looking to just weigh your pre shot grinds then this would work fine.

What’s the battery life in usage hours?

I have yet to change my batteries after using it for 2 months at an average of 5 times per week.

Is it large enough to use as a general food and baking scale?

This scale is rated up to 3Kg / 6.6Lbs anything heavier and this scale will not work.
