Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English 6 paper

Thank you for the packaging. Additionally, the shop owner who sent me responded carefully to my answers regarding my shipment. Packaging 8/10 points. It could be better. I think the dictionary is the best dictionary of this language. It meets all my requests. Printing and printing quality 9.9/10 points. The pages look thin and delicate. However, it is specifically very useful and of high quality. This is the best until Longman does better.

Easy to read the new dictionary format and the pictures are in colour. The purchased dictionary is better than I expected. This dictionary - Longman Dictionary of Contemporary English, 6th Editionary is highly recommended.

Very useful for developing essays and reports

This is an excellent dictionary. It uses various color to make the relevant items easy to notice. The related grammar and sample usage are very helpful as well. It uses only 2000 common words to explain the meanings of all words in the dictionary, this makes it easy to understand. There is a good comment for the 5th edition by "Improve Your English" which helped me to make the decision to buy this dictionary.However, I bought this dictionary from Book Depository and the online access code does not work. I was told that this problem cannot be resolved and gave me a refund. Perhaps this online access problem is a website bug for the 6th edition and cannot be fixed in short time.It is regrettable because nowadays online access is much more preferred way of using the dictionary than the paper version .

I've used many other dictionaries but I think this dictionary is the best for english second language learners. Very easy and clean definition. Stick in to my head easily. I'm so pleased with this dictionary. Little bit thicker than what I expected but size doesn't matter to me.

This dictionary is colorful, easy to use, and the definitions are in common language so they are readily understood. Haven’t tried the online access yet but I look forward to the experience.

The content of the dictionary is very good, so the dictionary itself is worth having if you learn or teach English. Yet, the packaging was so bad, that my dictionary arrived with torn cover and many pages were badly wrinkled - doesn't look like a new book. Also, the quality of paper leaves much to be desired - waaay too thin! For these reasons, not sure if I will keep it.

The media could not be loaded. Dicionário maravilhoso e completinho. As ilustrações são ótimas para ajudar no aprendizado e memorização de termos e frases. Esse material é mais que um simples dicionário de Inglês, pois parece mais um livro cheio de informações e notas importantes sobre palavras e conteúdos gramaticais. As folhas são bem fininhas, bem parecidas com aquelas folhas da Bíblia e eu gostei muito disso. Comprei a versão de capa mole, pois no ato da compra não prestei atenção que tinha a opção de capa dura, mas nada que interfira na qualidade do dicionário. Amei a compra!!

Mijn eerste Longman dictionary was na bijna 50 jaar aan vervanging toe. Daarom ging ik op zoek naar een ander exemplaar. De vormgeving was wel veranderd maar de kwaliteit gelukkig niet. Fonetische spelling, uitdrukkingen en nog veel meer. Zeker het aankopen waard voor iedereen die zijn kennis van de Engelse taal wil bijspijkeren.
