Kelty Grand Mesa Backpacking Tent (2020 Update)

Very easy to set up and tear down. Sub 10 mins combined.No tears. Floor seems thin so you'll definitely want the footprint.Packs up very small and is fairly light.I would say the 2 person is for 2 small people. I am a bigger guy so this is perfectly sized for just me and my gear.Will update after a few uses if I remember.

I liked the quality of material, can put just bout anywhere small n compact, however the rain fly leaked on seams...very disappointing. Ive bought $50 tents that never leaked....so to spend $130 n have it leak first time. I have a different perspective on kelty products quality!

Good tent, Kelty has great products. Reason for 3 stars is the entrance is strange for a 2 man, obviously it’s going to be tight but coming out the end is less than desirable. For a single person I would give it a better rating

Perfect for casual camping. I use this as a single person and it is a good size for a sleep pad and my pack. It is easy for 1 person to set up and tear down.

I just got this tent for a river rafting trip and it was perfect. It is very easy to assemble which was a real plus. It is the perfect size for 1 and some of your belongs. I cannot imagine 2 people in this tent as it would be very tight. It feels sturdy and well made. Overall I am very happy with it.

This tent is perfect for one person and would be adequate for two. it is lightweight and easy to set up. The rain fly completely protects the tent and creates a small vestibule at the door for storing equipment. Good value for a good price.
