Owned one of these torches for many years and was very good until batteries leaked and ruined the battery compartment. Decided to buy another and saw that two torches could be purchased together at a discounted price so went for that. However, on arrival one torch was okay with no problem, the other had two faults. Firstly, the adjustable zoom head was very loose as if the main body of the torch had been machined too small causing the zoom head to flop about excessively. The other more serious fault on trying some rechargeable batteries in the same torch it started to smoke and smell of plastic burning. Immediately switched the torch off and on examination could see battery compartment had melted. Investigation revealed that the positive and negative metal contacts of the battery compartment were actually touching each other causing a short circuit. It appears to me that one of these torches is a Quality Control failure in my opinion. As said, these torches are quite good but if you buy a two pack examine the torches for any quality issues.

Apart from the overall good quality of this torch I especially like its features. It is a good compact size, has a detachable wrist strap and the very bright beam can be altered to zoom if required.I definitely recommend.

Bought the twin pack. I was hoping that it would be as powerful as another torch i have that shines up a good distance in front of you and the whole width of a path plus more - but these didn't live up to that. Unless I'm using it wrong (it's a torch, you turn it on and shine it in front of you???), it doesn't light up a great deal of the pathway. There is two parts to this torch - a spotlight so you can focus on a single spot (highlighting a screw perhaps where you need a light to be focused on one thing) and a torch that you shine in front of you. It is bright, but the beam as a torch for walking is not big enough for me (but I guess I've been spoilt with my previous torch). It is a good size - fits nicely in a pocket or handbag, doesn't take up a lot of room.

Very Happy - bright, light weight, very compact for brightness and good value. Can't give 5 stars until had and used for a few months!

All metal means you can drop it and will not shatter. Only snag the batteries were flat

Brilliant wee torches great for taking bins out when it’s dark and you have zoom or wide very bright can see at distance with them and they arr solid cannot see them breaking at any time in years and years!!! Well worth the money!

These are great little torches for around the home. Sturdy but light enough for any pocket or handbag. Great for the car when searching for dropped items on the floor. Use mine for early morning dog walks too. Nice and bright and the best thing is they switch on and off. None of this cycling through 5 different lighting modes!

Good quality small torch. Not as powerful as some, but handy to have round the home or when out walking. Good value considering the batteries were also supplied.
