1 and 1/8 lb Live Maine Lobster -- Pack of 4

We usually have lobsters once a year, since we are displaced New Englanders in the Midwest, and they are such a luxury item. But we felt like a lift was needed after 2 weeks of being isolated out in the woods to avoid the pandemic. We do have a lot of experience, and have usually ordered direct from different lobster shippers in Maine, figuring that they were more likely to have fresh product and get more of the profits back to the lobster fishers. I have been out hauling traps a couple of times, and I can tell you those people work hard for often-skimpy pay. But we have also run into problems a couple of times with dead lobsters, or soft shelled lobsters with watery flesh. And the price is right ordering direct from Amazon - by far the cheapest option when you consider that most lobster places will charge you $100 or more for shipping. The beauties all arrived alive on time as promised, and they were about the best I have ever had outside of Maine (I used to get lobster in Long Island Sound when I was a teenager, but now the water is too warm, and you really have to go to Maine to get good lobster now). They were shipped straight from Maine, and they really gave us a lift. Highly recommended.

In a word, these were wonderful. They arrived alive and healthy...and were delicious once cooked. For the price ($29/lobster), I am not sure how you can find anything better. I would recommend these to anyone and will definitely be ordering these again in the near future!

My parents used to spend their summers in Maine and miss eating lobsters. I reviewed the ratings and decided to try this vendor. The were so delicious and my parents really enjoyed our mini lobster bake. Highly recommend and the prices was too bad.

Very late delivery and all four lobsters were all dead for I don't know how long? So I did not took the chance of being poisoned my families so I just discarded it in the trash.

Our lobsters arrived quickly and alive, just as the last time we ordered them. I put them in the fridge, cooler and all, and they were alive a few days later when we were ready to cook them. I checked them regularly and was almost ready to name them. I felt bad not being able to feed them and having to keep them in "prison" for that amount of time. But they did taste good, God bless them! If I had a complaint it would be that two of the cold packs they were shipped on had holes in them so a little of the gel got on them. This only happened this one time. Not a game changer. Will order again for the next appropriate occasion!

I live in Portsmouth, NH and a New England Native. I shipped 4 live Maine Lobsters to my brother in California for New Years 2022. Well he had a hell of a surprise when he got the delivery. Said it was the best gift he ever got, everything was packed great , the lobsters were all intact and alive and kicking! I had never shipped lobsters before I was a bit skeptical at first and wanted to surprise him with a gift from the east coast. I looked into a couple other retailers but this company had the best bang for your buck for the lobsters and free shipping as well. Will definitely do again and will recommend to friends and family!

These lobsters were priced so affordably that I dreaded being a victim. The company delivered on every promise. They arrived overnight as scheduled and in time to be cooked and enjoyed. All four lobsters arrived alive. Working for every bite of meat was worth the effort and helped by the enclosed instructions for cracking. These lobsters are positively delicious! My wife and I dined like royalty.
