I love the look and uniqueness but it does not even come close to going all the way around my 18/20 US hips. I'd say the decorative part goes slightly past 1/2 way around and the rest are just the ties. Beautiful piece but I wish they had a version that would fit all the way around us larger gals.

LOVE my belt! Its of a decent weight, and everything seems rather well sewn and constructed. I've worn it primarily for Ren Fest, so it hasn't gotten any real belly dance use. But it chimes nicely, and matches my costume perfectly. Its also a bit different than the coin belts that are commonly used, so I feel more unique when I wear it.I'd say the picture is a good representation of the belt, what you see is what you will get. Overall, very very pleased with my purchase!

Based on the reviews, I thought this belt would be somewhat larger than it is, but it is still very nice, and fits well. Good quality, all beads & coins intact, love the fringe, great sound when dancing.I got the lg/xl, so I thought it would be long enough to "meet" where it ties, but it doesn't. For reference, my hips are 42" where it's tied, and I'm 5'5" tall. I do love this belt though; it matches a bra top I bought separately PERFECTLY!! Very pretty & exactly as advertised.

Size 16-18Fits/Ties completely (coins do not cover entire circumference, but it looks good.Good sound. (I'm new to this, so maybe I don't know what "good sound" actually is, lol)Fringe will unravel if you get it wet. Every time I put it on I need to trim more off. Be careful.Other than that, it's stayed together. It feels a bit fragile, and I may need to sew things in the future, but it was what I could afford.I gently hand washed it bc it has a plastic/chemical smell, but it unraveled and still smells a bit. I keep trimming off what unravels, and it still works. (I am sensitive to scent, it is getting lighter and getting easier to tolerate, but it still smells.)

The scarf is absolutely beautiful (that's why I gave it 2 stars) but the chemical smell of the fabric is unbearable. I still have the smell on my hands from when I took it out of the plastic bag this morning, ugh! Got it today and returning it today before it stinks up my room. For those of you sensitive to toxic chemical smells I recommend you buy something else!

Looks just like the pictures. I cut the fringe off mine because that's not my style, which makes it obvious that the actual jingly part is much more of a belt than a hip scarf; it's only about 6 inches wide. But it's very loud when used, which was the main reason I bought it, and the coins are a lovely antique bronze color that I've never seen on another hip scarf.I do wish the decorated length was a bit longer; I have 45" hips and there's a good 8"-10" non-jingly gap where it's tied, but that's pretty standard for these kinds of hip scarves unfortunately. It definitely doesn't make it unusable; I just wear it with the ties in the front so the jingle coins sit on my hips and it does its job just fine. Just be aware if you're on the larger side that it might not have the coverage you would like.

I've used this scarf three times for my belly dancing class and nothing got loose as someone wrote in their review. It is even prettier in person. It fit my size 16/18 body but the coins didn't reach all the way around. My husband loved this belt when he saw me in it. I got this in the brown and like I said it is prettier in person. The colors are richer and all of the beads, coins and tassel seem to be of great quality.

Wonderful product for the money! My class liked it so much they had me order one for each of them. The plus size fit me perfectly, and I am a 12-14, so I guess it runs small. Also, the rose color is actually a burgundy. The yellow tassels shed all their yellow. But the 4 stars are because those are minor complaints. Overall, I love this!
