Misrepresentation. This is not Big Green Egg Big Green Egg Part # - 18CI-100092. This is bait and switch. You are not buying a BGE product. It is a second party product disguised as Original Manufactured goods.

It fit my green egg just right. I like the cast iron a lot better than what came with it. I also reseasoned it a couple of hours even though it came seasoned. The place where I got my egg at said they can’t get the thick cast iron anymore only the thin cast iron. This is thick like it should be.

fits large BGE perfectly and i could not see a notable difference between the original grid and this one. is reversible like the one BGE discontinued in favor of the half grills.

I love all things BGE and this is a substantial improvement to the OEM grill. Its more like VIKING quality, heavy, meaty and clunky. It may be a challenge to get in and out while hot - to add more fuel, but its the BOMB when it comes to cooking. Was initially worried about airflow, as the space between the grates are smaller than the original rack but its not an issue. Leaves great marks on meat and since its thicker throughout, it stays hot which means the marks are more pronounced. Only concern is that the lower (original) grate was cast iron and that got brittle an broke after a couple of seasons. I replaced that with stainless steel I will update over time but after the first use - 5 stars.

Arrived well packed. Works very well on the BGE for both grilling and smoking food. It seems easier to keep clean than the original heavy wire BGE grate. Puts great grill marks on your steaks.
