Works with Apple TV
Took awhile reading GE Universal Remote manual, studying YouTube videos, and referring to Apple's web site to work out how to use this with my Apple TV 4K (1st generation), but finally got it to work nicely. Here's the gist of what I learned: let Apple TV learn the GE remote, rather than try to get the remote to learn Apple TV:1) Do a factory reset (easy -- see manual) on the GE Universal Remote first, before you try to set it up. Before I did that, it wouldn't let me complete the next step...2) In Apple TV itself (use your original Apple remote), go to Settings > Remotes and Devices > Learn Remote, then follow the onscreen instructions. There are two parts to it -- learning the navigation buttons and giving the remote a name; and setting up the video playback controls (Play, Pause, and so forth).I found that Apple TV presents more options (e.g., jumping to next video chapter) than are supported on the GE Universal Remote, but it's possible to skip those using your now functioning GE remote left-right arrows (or your original Apple TV remote), and that's perfectly OK. The Apple TV remote doesn't support them either.3) Set up the rest of your devices per the GE Universal Remote manual and code list. I was able to use the direct entry method for all our other devices.Sounds complicated, but it takes longer to write about it than to do it, once you discover how. Kinda like the rest of life. Now my 6-device GE Universal Remote flawlessly targets, controls, and navigates through our LG 4K TV, DIRECTV satellite box, Yamaha sound bar, Sony Blu-Ray player, and Apple TV 4K (1st generation) quite nicely. With an extra button available to use for our over-the-air HD TV antenna, should we decide to set that up.On Apple TV we're able to play, pause, and fast forward through videos (at 1-4x speed), in addition to navigating among and within apps like Netflix, PBS, Prime TV, and others. Now we'll see how the family takes to it! While the GE Universal Remote simplifies things a bit by consolidating the functions of 5 or 6 different remote controls, now we have to pick up on first switching between the various devices we want to control -- again, easy to do, but something we're not yet used to having to do.Hope this helps you and your family!

Perfect color ans fully functional for roku tvs
I love the color! Pretty and pink like my room, just what I needed since I lost my other universal remote. It was very easy to set up the instructions were east to understand and the codes list was organized so it was easy to find my code. My cheaper universal remote that I had, although worked, not all the buttons worked the correct function and that was annoying, but this one all the buttons work for the correct function. I watch a lot of tv at night so it being lighted is an amazing added feature. The button for the backlight glows in the dark so as long as I have it out during the day and it catches good light to charge, it's bright and it helps find it at night in the dark. The buttons are quiet when you push them...which is not something you think about but my other one was sort of loud and annoyed the person sleeping next to me when I was scrolling finding something to watch. Right now I only have it programmed to the tv so I can't say nhow it functions on other devices but I can't imagine any negative issues.

WORKS!
I am totally happy with this remote and the price was right. I bought the pink because it was cheaper. At first I thought the color was a little gross in person, but now I noticed it helps my demented mother know which remote she is using. It is handy to have different colors. A few years ago you couldn't get a multi-programmable remote for less than $100. I suppose the big name that was dominating multi-programmable remote field, stopped doing it after eliminating the competition, and then it took a while for other brands to take over. Almost worth the wait. I tried rubbing pencil carbon on my buttons and that semi-helped and briefly. Nice to have a new one. Buy one while your dedicated remote is still new so you can use it to program in those dedicated buttons. There are also more available buttons that work with things like a Roku that were not there in my old worn out remote.

Works Well. Looks nice
Works with Hisense Roku TV. My daughter picked pink, it looks good. Buttons are bright blue. What I don't like is that it will not change the input on our sound bar (Samsung)

Really wanted this to work but…
I looked for a AA battery remote (longer lasting charge) that could direct our Vizio Tv, Sony BluRay and Roku streaming device. I felt pretty good about buying this one based on reviews and bc it had lots of Vizio codes. I thought the TV would be the problem if there was one, based on the fact that it’s the oldest of the three. Indeed I couldn’t get any of the Vizio codes to work, nor any of the Vizio website 4 digit codes, nor any other Vizio code I found on the internet. Unfortunately the remote isn’t able to read our TV at all to ‘learn’ the signal. The surprise was that none of the Roku codes worked either for our 4th Gen Roku. Sadly, this product was useless for me. I feel like they oversell how many electronic will actually work w the remote.

Does what is supposed to do
With the guide it was easy to set up for my specific TV. I have bought other ones and I have had to return them because they would not work with my particular TV

Device Works
The remote works, just not well enough. Doesn’t work for my surround sound, doesn’t work easily between changing apps.
