Almost 3 years and still going strong
I bought the BidetMate 1000R (with the remote) back in 2020. It was fairly easy to install (even for people like me who are timid of plumbing) and has worked great. Saves a lot of money on toilet paper and personal wipes. This particular model has a lot of nice features like heated water, heated seat and air dry. And the settings for position/temperature/water force etc. are simple to adjust to your personal preference. When I recently moved to a new home, I took my BidetMate with me. But unfortunately the water supply line somehow got damaged in the move, and would not form a leak-free seal any more. I contacted the company to ask about a replacement. They covered it under their generous 3-year warranty, and sent me a new one. So I was "back in the saddle" in no time. Bidets are still not so common in the U.S., but once you've used one, you will see why they are so popular in other countries. But I think the U.S. is starting to catch on. TLDR - great product, great company support. 5 stars!

If you want to be pampered and shiny, then this is your seat!
If you want to feel pampered and shiny, then this is your seat!Great packaging and delivered on time. Was a little surprised to find out that I needed to install a plug near the toilet. Description did not mention a plug, but was lucky to have a handy friend. Seat said it comes with everything needed for DIY install, but be prepared to purchase an outlet if you don't have one near your toilet, as well as a flexible hose to fit under the T-hose fitting. Most regular hoses are stiff, uncuttable, and too long to fit naturally under the set up. The instructions could use a bit more details for the untrained DIYer. After you get through all of that, the seat is amazing. Everything as promised... Except for the night light. No night light any where on it. However, I didn't get it for that .In the end, is was so worth the effort to install it. Aside from being eco-friendly, it gives me great piece of mind because of being so young and having spinal issues and fibromyalsia. It's hard to twist and reach any more, which makes it hard to truly feel clean. In addition, the pain meds cause horrible constipation or diarrhea. This seat was a gift of pure relief to me. The power wash really helps with the constipation. Then the different wash settings and ability to easily position everything to get yourself totally clean and then dry without twisting and being in pain was truly amazing. It allowed me to feel like I had control over my own care. I wasn't worried that in the future I'd need someone to come in and help me. That's very powerful for anyone in my physical health position!! So thank you for giving me back my self-care, BIDETMATE !

No buyer's remorse
I was afraid to invest this amount of money and I would not like the product. It installed VERY EASY in a short amount of time. However, I don't see in the instructions how to remove the seat assembly from the attachment snap-in template. The template may be the weakest part and possibly need covered under the 3-year warranty. I will promise to upgrade the review to 5-Stars if the mfg/distributor will comment on how to remove the seat from the snap-in template. I am super glad I did not buy an $89 non-heated BIDET. I used my friends non-heated bidet and was quite chilled. I will very gladly pay extra for the heated water. The water heat will last for a full spray cycle. If you play one game of backgammon or Suduko on your phone- when you are done-the water will have plenty of heat for a second spray cycle if preferred. I did not want a bidet with a remote because of the high risk (likely) of breakage of the hand held unit. Instead- I purchased adhesive-backed locator dots on Amazon. I put dots at my three most frequented settings. The drying works just fine. I choose to use four squares of toliet paper half-way through the dry cycle to pick up any dampness. Since owning (2 months) I have used fresh wipes 0 times. The finished product is very fresh and complete. The Europeans got it right on this style of toliet. (My sister jokingly says old people can stay in there homes another 5 years if they just got a product like this.) RECOMMENDATION: Get one sooner than later; get heated water; avoid remotes; have an electric outlet near-by; enjoy being 100% fresh.

The cleanest a**
You know the movie cars 2 (yes crappy movie) where mater uses the John in Japan. This is like that but no creepy talking toilet. It really does clean very well. It’s one of those things you just go damn this is the future and why are these not everywhere? Depending on which mode you choose a little too well. If you use vortex I highly recommend you start on lowest pressure setting unless you want a full enema, and if you do, well you do you. Other modes are fine at full force. Heated water doesn’t last through a full cycle, but stays warm enough through the whole thing. I would assume this is partly on your supply water temp. In Colorado it’s cold so I won’t knock it a star. Dryer is weaker but considering the limited space it’s fine. Toilet paper useable is down to 2 squares just to dry off and double check. Yes that’s right just two squares.

Great features, poor durability.
I'll start with the negative here:The plastic is cracking all over the place. The lid hinges have now broken off completely since owning from early-2021. I do not sit on the lid either. The seat also has cracks all over it and looks like it too will break at the hinges first. I'm not excessively heavy at about 200lbs.A minor annoyance is that the system goes to deadults on power loss. So when the power goes out even for a moment and I'm not home, I'll be surprised by an ice cold seat! The air dry function I've found is basically useless unless you want to sit there for 5 minutes. I just use a little bit of TP to dry. They could remove that to reduce costs. As for positives:All the other functions and adjustments work really well and cleans you nicely. It's my first bidet (got tired of running out of TP during the pandemic) and now I'll never go back to TP only.I feel like a caveman when I travel or stay other places and I always keep a pack of Dude Wipes in my travel bag as it's the next best thing

Ótimo produto
O produto funciona muito bem e serviu perfeitamente em um vaso sanitário brasileiro. Fiquei impressionado por entregarem em outro país, visto que se trata de um produto grande e pesado.
