Inexpensive sight sabors! Sound, lights & interactive!
First off when I got this toy I thought it was a little confusing from the pictures that they show on the Amazon ad because it makes it look like you get to double did swords. However you only get two single swords with this that can be combined with a center piece that goes in between them to make a double sword. The little plastic piece that it comes with I thought would be really easy for my kid to lose however I realize that once you put it in one end of one of the swords you can just leave it there and only use it for attaching when you want that double sword feature. Each one of the swords has a removable cap where you insert three AAA batteries. I noticed that the cap does have a spot for a screw however the screw is actually missing or never came with one so you might want to put one in in case you're giving this to a young child that might remove the batteries. Once you put the batteries in it immediately comes on and is really easy to use it has one simple to use button however the only thing I find annoying about that is that to get the lightsaber to turn all the way off you have to push the button continuously about eight times before it gets to the off mode. One of the cool features of these lightsabers is that they are motion detected so when you are sword fighting they will make noises and change colors each time the swords Clash together. It would be cool if they also have the option of turning off the sound as it can be a little bit overpowering. One thing I noticed after smacking the cords together a few times is that there is a little plastic piece wrapping the color stick that is also in casein plastic which came unraveled a bit. It has an effect the toys ability to perform though. Other than these small issues it seems like these a fairly decent bang for your buck. Any Star Wars fan will love these!

Flimsy and cheap
These light sabers are a complete waste of money. I ordered a set of 2 for my boys for Christmas. Well, when I was wrapping the I noticed that one of the packages was missing the connector plastic piece. Discussed with my husband what to do because they wouldn’t be happy if one of them could have a double saber and the other one couldn’t. So, I ordered another set thinking I’d just return the one with the missing part after Christmas new box came with one paragraph in it (not like the previous set of 2). I swapped out the items and put the package with the missing piece in a closet. The boys opened them and were super excited. By the afternoon one of the plastic connector pieces broke. ( by this time I’m really upset). The 4 saber sticks lasted about a day before I was in the closet robbing pieces from the package I was going to return. By the fourth day they were complaining that the sound wasn’t working and the colors wouldn’t stay put on one color like it had before. I suspected that they had run down the batteries already. Switched them out and still doesn’t work. Now by January 4th we have 3 of the 4 that are cracked or completely broken where the saber screws into the handle. Don’t waste your money on these unless you have the most gentle children on the planet. We have a Dark Saber from another brand that is still going strong since my sons Nov 4th birthday. It doesn’t d all of the colors though that these sabers are supposed to.

Lots of fun but breaks pretty easy
One of the reasons I bought this particular lightsaber was that there were reviews saying it was very sturdy. That is not the case. I bought this for my seven year old son's Darth Maul halloween costume. He absolutely loved having it on Halloween and had lots of compliments (that's the reason for the 3 stars). I have two boys and we have atleast 3 types of lightsabers in the house. The problem was that even though it lasted the night, it broke just a few days later while he was battling his brother. I was there watching, and they weren't being particularly rough. No more rough than how they play with their other lightsabers. The plastic piece that connects to the handle snapped. The tears commenced and I taped it back on. Sound and light still works but now I have to retape it every few days. Alot of aggravation for a toy he was really looking forward to.
