I purchased these for my son for a below freezing navy homecoming (hours long).It was 19 deg and windy. It fit nicely under his pants, socks and boots.I would have normally gone with a nude or white color but this was the only color to ship overnight to me. It's a nice color. Almost like the pinkmauve equivalent of purple. (Kinda a dusty purple).These slipped on very nice. I think he's on the smaller end of the size but it worked wonderfully. No runs but these were covered for their duration of use.
