Without a power meter it's a pain in the butt.....
I've really enjoyed this trainer (I use it with Zwift), but having bought it for nearly $400 dollars I wish I'd spent a little more for a different one. It works well with Zwift and mimics inclines/declines well, but without a power meter it's very difficult to calibrate. Elite has an app that allows you to manually change your P1, P2 and P3 values--which is a good thing considering they seemingly just arbitrarily assign these values with no consideration to the actual buyer's numbers. However, without a power meter it's a guessing game and requires a lot of adjustment. Bottom line: If you don't have a power meter I'd spend a little more for a smart trainer that is capable of reading your P values, but if you already have a power meter I'd suggest this is a good value compared to other smart trainers as it can be had for a little less than $400.00.

Great Value! Real Road Feel!
Love it! Buy this, if you want the cheapest resistance-controlled trainer for Zwift (for U.S. buyers). And the My E-Training videos are a nice addition.

Stopped working properly after 3 or 4 days
Stopped working after 3 or 4 days (no connection using ANT+ to my computer. Returned it to the vendor and received a full refund. The vendor was great. The equipment was horrible.

Great Trainer. But their Support and Using with Zwift.... not so great.
I really like the trainer itself, it's simple to setup and works flawlessly with Zwift (almost.... see below) and Elite's iOS app. Unfortunately there are two issues that are pretty important to me that take it down a couple of notches. First, their support page / KB is pretty much non-existent. It's an email address... which in all fairness, I haven't tried - but I want to read about known issues, tech updates, etc... myself. The second one, which is the bigger one for me, is that it's not at all accurate on Zwift (the resistance is much too low for steep climbs, and the speed is probably 10-15% too high. Apparently Zwift has been trying to work with Elite on getting this fixed, but they're not getting anything from Elite on this. This one is really frustrating to me - I love Zwift and it's how I primarily ride. I got this trainer specifically for Zwift, but the accuracy issue means I'll probably be looking to upgrade to a Wahoo KICKR.

Great Trainer
Love this trainer. Works great with Zwift. No connection issues. Ant+ dongle is approx 9ft away. Speed seems pretty accurate when accounting for NO wind resistance. Power is consistent, but nothing to compare it to for accuracy. My Etraining app is pretty decent also-you have to figure things out on your own a little bit. I couldn't figure out how to change the resistance settings manually but sent customer support an Email and they showed me within a day. Only issue I have is the "sensorless" cadence jumps around a little, but I think all these new trainers have that.
