Josh's Frogs is proud to offer Begonia 'Black Fancy', perfect for growing in a naturalistic vivarium. Begonia 'Black Fancy' is a man-made cultivar, and has very nice dark green, almost black leaves with dark green veins, and is heavily ruffled.Begonia 'Black Fancy' can grow into a rather tall plant, and as such should be considered a background plant, and planted in the back portion of a naturalistic vivarium in a well-draining substrate, such as ABG mix.Begonia 'Black Fancy' has moderate to high light needs, although it does not appreciate standing water on it's leaves. Begonia 'Black Fancy' will grow into a fuller, bushier plant under bright light. Begonia 'Black Fancy' can tolerate low light conditions, but will generally show sparse growth and a trailing growth habit. Begonia 'Black Fancy' can be a very fast grower in the proper growing conditions. Begonia 'Black Fancy' does not require air circulation, as long as it's leaves are kept dry.
