Worth the Effort!
I wanted a larger buffet. This one required assembly. It took my husband and I 4 hours to put it together. The instructions were well written and easy to follow. It was well worth the effort. I’m very happy with my new buffet. It’s large enough to serve from.

Everything is fine except top drawer sticks
Overall, this is a nice piece for the money. It looks lovely. I had it professionally assembled, so I can't comment on the ease of assembly, but the two deliverers were done in 1.5 hours, although one said he'd done the same item a few days before and it took 2.5 that time, so easier with practice? He said it was "tedious" more than difficult. The biggest issue is simply that the top drawer sticks badly, and one must almost jerk on it to get it out. That appears to be a problem of the UNIT, not the assembly. Everything else works fine.

I love it but it was a challenge to put together

Nicely made piece of furniture for the price.
First, it is my opinion (and I believe to be true) that across the board, furniture quality isn't what it used to be. That doesn't mean you can't find quality furniture, made with fine materials by skilled craftsman--you certainly can. But generally speaking the quality of furniture you might see in your parents or grandparents house is more difficult to come by these days. And that's especially true of a $200-ish piece of furniture like this buffet/TV stand. It is, however, machined well in my opinion. I know a few of the reviews mentioned parts not fitting together quite right. I didn't experience that. Things fit precisely the way as described, with very minute alignment issues on only a couple of the dozens of pieces. All in all I'm very happy with the final product. The packaging was adequate, I saw no damage on any parts, the instructions were clear 99% of the time, and the final assemblage looks and feels as advertised.Other reviews were quoting anywhere from 2.5 to 3.5 hours of assembly time. I finished right at 2.5 hours, which I spent entirely on assembly with the exception of one bathroom break. I'm a fairly organized person, so I laid out all of the hardware packages alphabetically to make things more efficient as I worked through the instructions. Here are some of the reasons I wouldn't give this piece of furniture five stars. First, the quality (or lack thereof) of some of the hardware parts--especially the cam locks. Turn the screwdriver too hard trying to snug them up and the cam lock metal actually breaks! Second, most of the cam bolts don't indicate how deep you should be screwing them into the wood. I found myself having to back out quite a few of the cam bolts a turn or two just so the cam locks would grab them. This generally isn't a big hassle, except many of the dowels already have glue on them which means as soon as you take a piece apart to adjust a cam bolt, you inevitably get glue all over the place. The hinges were the other pieces of hardware which seem really poorly made. I'm sure it's just cost-cutting measures, but although they do the job and seem like they'll hold just fine, they just feel like lightweight pieces of junk when you pick them up. I guess it's nice that the manufacturer gave you some little stickers to put over and camouflage the cam locks when you're fully assembled, but it would have been nicer if they provided enough of the little stickers!Other lessons learned: 1) Careful leaving the little tubes of wood glue on the floor during assembly. Since you're moving all around to get to different parts of this piece, you may step on them (like I did) and make quite a mess. 2) If you're even a bit experienced with a cordless drill, don't hesitate to use it (even though the instructions advise against it) for screwing on the three cardboard back panels which in total have about 25 screws. I also used it to screw in the hinges. 3) Don't over-tighten anything. In fact, I'd leave things a little more loose than what you'd normally be accustomed to doing when assembling furniture. 4) They don't provide felt pads for the wooden legs. And although the leg bottom surfaces didn't feel too rough, if you're worried about scratching your floor when moving this piece around, I'd recommend buying some and sticking them on the legs. It's a fairly heavy piece of furniture.I could probably say more, but I think that suffices. You get what you pay for, folks. I think this is a fair price for what ends up being a pretty nice piece of entry-level furniture. Just don't expect a high quality heirloom worthy of passing down through the generations.

Beautiful!
Love these buffets so much! I bought 2 for my dining room and they are perfect. Lots of storage space and very eye-catching. One of the top pieces had scratches on it, but they were very quick to send a free replacement piece.

I love it.
It did take quite a while to put it together. Wasn’t necessarily hard, but there are many pieces. My son put this together for me, without any hiccups. It was packed like no other furniture I’ve ever received. The packaging was phenomenal. They even had extra pieces of wood protecting the ends, so that nothing would get scratched. Hands down the best “assemble yourself” piece I’ve ever seen. And the quality is just stunning. Looks very nice. I guess the the only problem I have with it is that the doors somewhat rub, when you open and shut. Cannot be adjusted, because of the way the hardware is pre-made to fit certain areas. And not sure you could lift from the top, just because of the kind of hardware holding it together, but it is truly a beautiful piece. Very pleased.

Amazing color and design
I originally had found this on the Lowe's website but then found it here for nearly $70 cheaper so that purchase was definitely a no-brainer. I placed this in my dining room as a cute little accent bar cabinet and it looks great! The online dimensions made it seem kinda small but once we assembled it, it was actually a decent size for the space we were using it in. It was still definitely a bit more expensive than I prefer to spend but after searching for a while, I realized most accent furniture pieces are pricier in general.I like that it has legs so we can easily clean underneath it and the overall color and design is lovely as well. It definitely took a bit to assemble it but the instructions were straightforward and easy to follow with the attached accessories, especially for someone like me who has 0 knowledge on furniture assembly and tools. The doors have a fun design but are open so there is no full coverage for the items placed inside. Overall, I definitely loved this piece and am happy with my purchase!

Very nice pice of furniture.
We were looking for that kind of “buffet”for long time. Good size, colour and workmanship. Written instruction for assembly is so clear that there will be no problem to anybody to assemble this piece. I would give 10* for this “buffet” not only 5*.

Disappointed
Most of the hardware was missing, and the instructions were doubled for the 1st 4 steps and nothing for the rest. I went out and got the hardware I needed and figured out the rest of the steps. Other than that it's a nice cabinet. It would be nicer if there was glass for the doors to keep out dust, but I can have it made.

Great value!!!
Would have been a 5 star rating if it did not have static cling. It attracts dog hair and dust easily other then that it is beautiful and well made and heavy and has a 5th leg in the middle.
