Bought to replace my old case which finally gave out after years of use. Compared to the old case, this one is thinner, not sure how much protection my phone will have from a drop. The gorilla glass sticks above the case a small bit so if dropped, the glass will impact the ground.The clear plastic cover is separate from the case you have to lay on the glass. Once the case is on, I'm seeing the plastic cover peeling up around the edges. I press it back down but it's relentless in coming back up. My old case had the plastic cover built in so recommend getting that type of case next time.The back ring with stand is made out of metal and protrudes above the case a bit so the phone never sits flat on a table or desk. I also discovered I can no longer use wireless charging with this metal clip on the back. I had to forcefully remove the metal stand ring from the back to get wireless charging to work again.Would I buy this again, No, but I needed a new case for my Galaxy S8 which I will be upgrading later this year and didn't want to spend $30 for a new case I had for this old phone which wont fit my new phone when I eventually get it.

This is the second I purchased, one for my phone and the other one for my son. I had drop my phone multiple times and nothing happens. It comes with two screen protectors to help you protect your screen from scratches.

I miss this case. I have since upgraded my phone and have a different case. I am one of those people that watch a lot of videos and movies on my phone and the kickstand was perfect for being able to do that anywhere. It also protected my phone when I dropped it on my concrete back patio. I would recommend this 100% to people.

Strong & durable. Love the color & style. But definitely the only bad part how easily breakable the metal ring is. After a bit it just snapped off. But the protection is still great.
