Shell may vary slightly in color but will be the type of shell you choose. All are approximately 30 MM. Measurement is INCLUDING the rim. Orb size may vary slightly due to the hand made nature of the item. Made to order, each one is unique. Please keep that in mind. These Orb Necklaces are thick hand blown and kiln tempered boroscilicate glass. I make these Orbs myself because the market is saturated with thin ornament glass globes that break very easily, and are not able to be securely fastened to their cording. I have developed a MUCH stronger Orb that is much easier to maintain than other versions. The orb will measure approx 30mm tall including the rim and approx 25mm wide. Black cord with heat sealed knots easily adjusts from approx 16 inches in length to 24 inches long and also available with a wire wrapped top . (see photos) Marimo and Java Moss have no expiration date, just a birth date!! Marimo Moss only grows approx.3 mm per year and when your mossy outgrows your Necklace orb you can easily remove your moss, separate into two, roll into small balls and place one back into the Orb. Java moss is easily trimmed as well. We include a tiny plastic water pipette for the once a month water change and complete easy care instructions.
