Reditainer12 Ounce Deli Food Saver/Meal Prep Containers - Package of 40

I've purchased these Redtainer containers at least two times before my most recent order of last month. The older containers were a bit thicker, a bit more pliable, a little bit more opaque. The newer ones are thinner, less flexible, prone to snapping or cracking on flexing, harder to get the lids off, the edges are sharper and the plastic is more translucent. Did they change the formula? Maybe this is new plastic that is more Bio- or Enviro- or Recycle-friendly, and if so, that's great. I guess the older ones were more like Tupperware (bendy & strong) and the latest ones are more like yogurt containers. We'll see if they last for years and years like the first two orders.

I spent 15 years in restaurants and 40 years in the food industry. I have a lot of experience with containers. Even pro brands like Cambro and Carlisle have issues with lids staying on. The containers just don't leak nor do the lids come off. We have bout 5 sets in 4 sizes and all came in perfectly. These containers microwave perfectly and go from freezer to microwave with no breakdown. Simply the best container I have ever used.

I really like these containers. I use them for food prep, organizing crafts and for food storage. They are a great value for the money and the perfect size for so many things. Worth the purchase! I will purchase these again!

Works well for sharing soup or storing food in the fridge. I have not used these to store food in the freezer in yet. I would not use them to heat food in the microwave as I feel the heat makes them too flimsy. They do seal nice and tight. I would probably purchase them again if the need arises.

I like it very much, I uses it for dried cereal .

My family goes through things quicker than 8oz.these are the perfect size for us to make dips and store them in the freezer. great quality.

These are the perfect size for a single serving! I have other sizes and ALL the lids fit ALL the containers! Easy to store, stack neatly in the freezer.

I've used other sizes in this brand for several years. They are heavy duty construction, the lids fit tight so less spills. They are dish washer safe and reusable many times making them a good value for someone that cooks in quantity and stores for quick meals.
