An air race from London to Paris provides the premise for this marvelous comedy, which features thrilling aerial photography and some stupefying stunt flying. It's set in 1910, when the (lovingly re-created) airplanes of the period were likelier to sputter and crash than they were to go in a straight line. Hollywood icon Tony Curtis (The Vikings) stars in this hilarious, romantic and action-packed romp! Set in glorious Monte Carlo, this hugely entertaining follow-up to Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines follows the dashing Schofield (Curtis) as he teams up with the scheming Count (Terry-Thomas, I m All Right Jack) in a zany, winner-take-all car rally beset with scheming competitors, treacherous cliffs and a very beguiling blonde.

Old but funny
Doubt this movie could be made today. Stunts too risky. Wonderful vintage character actors.

Great Fun!
I saw this when it came out originally with my first "steady" girlfriend. All of those wonderful actors and goofy antics. It may seem a bit dated, but it's a well made movie with lots of sub-plots and running gags. And there is such a wonderful theme/message about friendly (well, kind of) competition and how the nations of the World can come together in support of each other.
