Received the Salt & Pepper set quickly. I was pleased at the look and feel.Easy to fill; easy to adjust from coarse to fine grind; and lovely enough to leave on the table. Works well with the Himalayan Pink Salt too.I've only had for a couple of days, but so far, I am very pleased; so much so, I'm considering ordering another set to give as a gift.

Solid, looks good, but works weird, the crunched particles fly all over.

I got a set of these for my mother for mother's day, and I have to say, these are really some of the better purchases (in terms of salt and pepper mills) you could hope to find. My mother is a cooking fanatic who's tried and experimented with almost every recipe under the sun, so naturally her standards are high. After trying these out, she fell in love with them.They're made of strong glass and stainless steel, sealed with rubberized rings between the lids and the mouth of the grinder, (seen at the top of the picture) come with removable lids made that are also made of the same stainless steel, and if all that weren't enough, their grinders can be adjusted. For those of you who actually cook (you know, with a stove instead of a microwave) you probably already appreciate how useful that feature is. Just turn the little round gizmo inside the mouth of the grinder to adjust whether you want your salt and / or pepper to be finer or more course.All in all, they are simple, stylish, durable, efficient, and dependable. Definitely a 5 star purchase.

I did not get these for salt and pepper but to use as coffee toppers! Last year I used up my cinnamon/sugar and chocolate/sugar/coffee bean grinders I got from Trader Joes so I asked for those for Christmas. My husband looked but didn't find them, and sure enough they no longer carry them. I've looked everywhere for something similar.These grinders saved the say! In one I put some crushed coffee beans, cacao nibs, and "sugar stones". In the other I put sugar stones and broken cinnamon bark. Both work exactly like the old grinders did (which I had tried in vain to open to re-use). The grind in these is adjustable so you can grind coarser or finer depending on what you want to grind.So now every morning I drink my coffee with a little grind of fresh cinnamon and sugar, or chocolate, coffee beans, and sugar. Just a little treat and these grinders are perfect for it!

While large and attractive, they don't function well, particularly with pepper. Can't get a course enough grind and when I turn over to use, a large amount of fine pepper dumps out. Was excited when I ordered, but would not recommend. Am now looking for a different set. :-(

To Begin with the cost - good value very good product. I liked the the looks and the size. Me gusta the simple design. The caps are a good idea giving the pair a nice clean look and they pop right off when i am ready and they are both the same so i do not need to track which cap is for which grinder (small thing i know but..). The grinder thing adjuster adjustus real good its true i can put those peppercorns inn and chunky salt in and works as advertized. At times my hands are not clean when i grab and grind, no problemo clean up is E Z. Thatz all amigos hasta la bye-bye

We really don't like that you have to take the lid off the grinders off to dispense salt or pepper on food. So I am returning them.Thank you, Charlene Cooke

Great grinders, good value. They grind very well and do the job as advertised. The metallic lids are a little thin and feel like they might bend if even a little pressure is put, but otherwise excellent.
