The best cargo trailer access door
I used this as a door to my cargo trailer to allow a pass-through for an electric cord. It is perfect for that. It looks good; is heavy; and well built. Installation is easy if you know what you're doing with a metal saw. I'd buy it again, but this one is all I'll ever need.

It is the only access door I could find for my application
Average quality with low quality control. The first one came to me with the door welded on crooked. The 2nd one is just ok with plenty of wiggle at the hinge. I will take a automatic center punch to tighten up the hinge. The door is thin metal but very shiny. Ill upload a pic after install. I am happy with the install. I was able to tighten the hinge by punching all the hinge segments. It comes from the factory with just the top and bottom punched.

Arrived damaged.
My part arrived damaged and the replacement says it will take 11 days to get here. I really was counting on having the part by Saturday 9/7. Is it possible to expedite this?

Not quite
Finish of product was good. Having to use a key for the latch mechanism is inconvenient for the application I wanted. Should have option of key or just a slot slot to openthe cover. Orientation of installation defeated the product installation I wanted. Luckily I had another cover I could use without dealing with the drawbacks of this item.

Good quality and looks great!
I bought two of these to replace the plastic access hatches on the skirt of my toy hauler. The overall dimensions of the Ultra-Fab hatch was smaller than what it replaced but it was still large enough to cover the opening. These look great! The hinge and key mechanisms work well. It would be nice if the manufacturer made a hatch that was 1/2" bigger in both dimensions.

Good construction and finish
I installed the access door on a trailer I built. The construction was very good with a nice finish. I rated it four stars since there is not a waterproof seal on it. I am adding a rubber gasket to the flange myself to make it water proof.

I modified this for my Motorhome with the original Thor insert piece so it looks very stock and it turned out great, very pleased
