I love that he represents those who are in wheel chairs and recognizes that we all are different. What I didn't expect was that he was a perfect body switch for my Rock Hudson Ken who is now happily with my Doris Day Barbie living the mid century dream! They have kids, dogs and it's like a Rock Hudson - Doris Day movie!!!

Turned into Grandpa
My 3 year old granddaughter loves playing with Barbies. She has made her family with them, but she was missing her grandpa. I found this & did grandma magic & now she has her grandpa in her Barbie family.I turned out SO cute!She LOVES it!

A fine addition to any collection, but some issues to address
Love the full (and I mean FULL) articulation and attention to detail for this doll. His body is very well made and the wheelchair is good quality. It’s very handy to have a MTM in this skin tone as well! (Absolutely perfect for head swaps.) His clothes are simple, maybe a little cheap, but just fine for a play-line doll.My only qualms about him all have to do with his actual head. Having the sunglasses on in the package made it hard to tell if the paint job lined up right, and as others have said, the lip color is a really odd choice. Another annoyance is the way his head was anchored to the packaging. Once removed he now has two obvious holes in the back of his head. That works fine for dolls with rooted hair to hide it, but not so much in his blond sculpted ‘do.Nevertheless I highly recommend this for doll-customizers and/or kids who won’t care about the head issues. He’s a fine addition to any Barbie family. :)

Ken is wonderful and my granddaughters are learning such kindness and compassion for disabilities and injuries 🙏 ❤️. Watching them play with Ken and Barbie care so lovingly for him so cute.
