A Very good Clone
I have 2 harris bi pods and I must say this bi pod is a very good copy of them. The only down side is it's made in China. The upside is it will save you about 60 dollars over a harris.

Great for the money, with a little love is perfect.
I have bought two of these, for a .308 and .22LR Rifle. I am keeping in mind the price I am paying for with this review. If you want a perfect bi-pod go spend $100 or more on one. With that being said this is a great bi-pod. I only give it 4 stars because one of them came with the tightening screw hole not fully bored out, so I had to use tools to force it through until it was moving through freely. Also on one (and maybe now the second) the pivoting level (I don't know what it is called, the lever to change the bi-pod from pivoting or staying in place) wasn't lined up right, I had to take it apart and re-seat it. But now it's perfect.Remember, with any product, especially one like this that has moving parts, you spending 5 minutes to become familiar with it and adjusting some tightness here and there will make your life 100% easier, and solve many of the problems (like it becoming loose, use pliers to tighten past your hand strength).

Great product. And about 1/3 the cost of a Harris. Just as good.

Better than Caldwell XLA Pivot, but a far cry from a Harris
Setting up a souped up rimfire rifles for precision shooting and Belding Ground Squirrels, I opted to go cheap on bipods, since I had dropped a good chunk of change on the rifles and optics. The cost of two Harris bipods or the slick, machined tactical bipods currently on the market were never in the cards. Instead I opted to purchase the Blackhawk Sportster Adjustable Pivot and Caldwell XLA Pivot to get the job done and have an opportunity to compare the bipods to one another and to a Harris that I already own. The Blackhawk and Caldwell are similar in quality, except the Caldwell knurled plastic knob to tighten the swivel stud connection and draw the bipod tight against the rifle stock immediately separated from the screw to which it is attached. I just used a screwdriver to tighten the connection without any trouble. The Blackhawk uses a one-piece component, which is stout by design and cannot separate. The Blackhawk also has an elongated and more practical lever to adjust tension on the pivot function, however the added cost is built into the Blackhawk. Caldwell sells a similar lever as an upgrade and keeps the price of the bipod down. The legs on the Caldwell extend on command under spring tension, however the Blackhawk legs use spring tension to retract on command like the Harris. Like the Caldwell, the Blackhawk is made in China, so some of the components, coatings and quality never reach for the stars, but both bipods are getting the job done on the bench and should do fine on my first squeaker shoot this month. The notched legs on the Caldwell are handy, but I have to lean toward the Blackhawk for working most like a Harris and having a better solution for tightening the connection to the rifle stock. No I wouldn't trust my life to either of these bipods, but both companies offer a product that works, yet makes you wish you had the coin to afford a Harris. Imitation is the best form of flattery.
