Safavieh Home Paloma Retro Antique Bronze Headboard, Queen

This Gold is absolutely beautiful and exactly what my room needed. It adds a touch of 70s flair but keeping everything modern as well. As others have mentioned it’s a little difficult to get the screws in and tighten them while you’re putting it together but the trick is to have someone else help you so you’re not doing it by yourself. Then loosely put everything together and then tighten as you’re going along. Tighten one side halfway then the other, till they’re both even and it comes out perfectly as pictured. I wasn’t going to attach it to the bed as I literally wanted to lean it against the wall so I can’t comment on that. Looks beautiful and delivery was perfect and on time.

Overall compare price to quality to delivery right to your door and packaging I would rate this headboard as a4 stars. Easy to assemble, however, quality, as you can see it on the pictures, could be a bit better, specially on visible parts. Headboard a bit flimsy and not all bed frames would accommodate and firmly held to it. My plan is to permanently attached to a wall since my bed frame has different attachment design. Overall I like this headboard in dark bronze color, was debating between gold and bronze, and recommend to purchase. Versatile style that can be used in many ways.

Looks pretty & my daughter likes that. But, it’s just as ALL the other reviews state, the width & screw holes, do not match a standard bed frame. Therefore, you can not screw it to the frame. We had to just set it in between the frame & the wall, which makes it shift & bang against the wall. It doesn’t cost a lot, so you get what you pay for.

Although it is a beautifully designed head board and it was easy to attach to the bed frame it came with scratches and a bent middle pole.

Overall I think this purchase was worth it, it came in scratched and bent but it’s mailable enough to bend back into place. The set up was fairly easy besides having to straighten up the bottom pieces. The bolts that came with it to attach to my (standard) bed frame were too big so I had to go to my local hardware store and pick up 1/4” bolts, washers, spring bolt, and nuts. Overall the shipping/packaging could have been handled better but very happy about this purchase and I think it totally elevates my room.

The headboard is very cute and looks like the picture, but it was delivered with large gouges on it and paint chipping off of it. It was not in very good condition. Very disapointing.

Unique style with beautiful finish. I read some other reviews about assembly difficulty and "not fitting the bedframe", which I don't understand. I found it very easy to assemble, which I accomplished by myself - all the hardware and tools needed for assembly are included - along with sim[;e easy-to-follow instructions. It fit like a dream on my queen bedframe; it is definitely made for a queen bed NOT a full-size bed.

Easy to assemble/great craftsmanship! It’s absolutely perfect for my handmade wood framed queen bed. I purchased the full size headboard because I didn’t want the two different materials- wood bed frame and metal headboard to over power each other. They are a beautiful blend together! I just adore this headboard!
