Sweet & Simple Baby Crochet: 35 Adorable Designs for Newborns to 12 Months

I love this book because it has so many projects to choose from. The hats are so adorable and it has other items, such as socks and blankets that you can crochet.

I'm quite the seasoned crocheter, and really don't need to buy a book of patterns. Thought I would give a fellow artisan my support. Well, I was blown away by this book. Paperback? Very misleading. This book is large. The cover is harder than any paperback I've ever read. The pages are thick and glossy. The book itself is great. The instructions are clear and concise, there are pictures for the various steps along the pattern, and there is a guide in the back showing you how to create the individual stitches. This book is fantastic for both the novice (someone picking up a hook for the first time) and the expert, and everyone in between. Kristi will even sign it, if you send it in to her.

I purchased this book for a couple of the patterns inside...the poncho and the stocking cap with three drop pompoms. The patterns were very easy to make and the finished product comes out true to size.There are a few patterns in here that would only be for photo shoots but I'm not into that myself.I just wanted to make items for my granddaughter that could actually be used.All of the pictures in this are high quality and there are instructions for every stitch in the back of th book making it great for a begining crocheter too.Would highly recommend this book if you are looking for something cute, fun, easy to make and wearable too...they're not all just for looks.

I love this book! It is beautifully designed, from the gorgeous pictures of babies, to the well written and easy to follow patterns! Lots of great patterns for babies from hats, to skirts, sweaters and blankets! I just wish it included bigger sizes for toddlers and children, but you can use a bigger hook size to increase the gauge. Other than that this is a wonderful book and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to create some gorgeous baby items! :)

I can't wait to get started on the beautiful patterns! I usually make something for the pregnant women in my church. I am going to have a ball with these patterns. They are so cute! I know the moms are going to love it as much as I do. 5 stars all around, and a great price too!! Keep um' coming Kristi Simpson. I am waiting for the next one!!

Love her patterns. They are clear and easy to follow. I have purchased several individual patterns so I thought I'd purchase her new book. I would recommend the book but I think I prefer buying JUST the patterns I know I'll use rather than an entire book.

Good quality book, but was hoping for better patterns. Good for beginners, but not challenging for those with experience in crocheting

The patterns are great, and I've enjoyed making several of them. The only problem I have is there are several mistakes in the patterns for the projects I've completed, so it sometimes leaves the reader having to work out what the correct instruction is.

Love this book, once I realised how to read the patterns & American crochet terms it was easy to use.

Bought for my mum to crochet the flying helmet for my grandson, she had not used a crochet pattern before - just knew the basics, after a couple of hiccups she can now follow a pattern, has done 3 hats and 2 jackets, she absolutely loves it!
