I like the macho feel of wearing this harness strap. I was walking around with my binoculars attached to it, and someone asked me if I'd "seen the Meadowlarks?". I don't really know much about birds, but it gives you birder-cred. Also, it takes the strain off your neck if you have heavy binoculars, and want to hike around with them. They stay against your chest instead of swinging and bumping onto your belly all the time (which I find irritating). A good accessory that you won't regret purchasing. Good for ridiculously heavy cameras too.

We purchased these to hold binoculars for birding. Normally that entails carrying the binoculars for 2-3 hrs or more and the weight is distributed so I don’t get neck or back pain. Great purchase.

I was looking for a more convenient way to have my binoculars accessible during hikes. I sometimes carry a small pair that fits in my pocket but I wanted quick access to my 12x42’s. This harness is perfect for that! Comfortable, easy to use, and it actually helps to stabilize the 12x view since The elastic pulls down while I’m pulling the binos up to my face. I never would’ve thought about that benefit without having used the harness.The strap connectors wouldn’t fit through the strap rings on my binos but a quick trim with scissors made it work.My harness was actually branded “Vortex Optics” but it looks the same as the description pics.Best price, great product, highly recommended!

This is a great strap. Its lightweight and keeps your binoculars close to your body so your hands are free but they are right there when you want them. It also streamlined enough enough that it works great even if you have a pack on. It would also work well with a camera. The other nice thing is it makes it impossible to set the binoculars (or camera) beside you and forget them, or for someone else to pick them up if you are around people you don't know.

I decided to buy one of these since one of my professors and the class TA had one (I hadn’t seen them before) and they used Vortex brand too so I figured that’d be a good company to try. I’m glad I ended up getting this. Straightforward to put together, super comfortable to wear and it’s much more convenient than a traditional neck strap (and they no longer bounce around when I walk). Quality seems good for the price. I would definitely buy them again!
