Our illustration shows all of the tremolo models side-by-side, with specifics about choosing a model that will fit your guitar properly. All Callaham trems feature Callaham’s Enhanced Vintage trem block and Virtual Pop-In arms. This feature is designed to take the play - or “slop” - out of the arm, for improved feel. It also makes for quick and easy arm installation: Just push the arm in and screw it around once or twice to engage a couple of threads and you’re ready to play. The block’s internal precision-reamed Delrin bushing provides a bearing surface for the unthreaded portion of the arm, improving feel while minimizing risk of arm breakage. This is best seen in our cutaway illustration in the images section. The block features a machined top surface that is free of paint, permitting solid metal-to-metal contact between the block and the underside of the top plate, for maximum rigidity with no dampening of vibration.
