Universal Barbeque Grill Scraper, Wooden Handle - 16 Inches Long

I like things easy. I want things to work exactly like I think they should. The scraper does not do that exactly. It works the way it is supposed to work by turning it so that it fits the grill that you have. Rounded one goes with the rounded bars on some grills but there are variations to consider.Okay overall it works great to clean the top of the grill off which is I guess what you want it for. i actually would like to see it clean the sides of the grates as well. I have triangle type grates and while this has different sizes for the triangle grates it does not quite have the right size I need. I also have another scraper that is a bit bigger that this was also supposed to fit and it does not. That is orginally why I purchased this was for the handle that was supposed to fit my Owl scraper which i love and works exactly the way I want it to work except it does not have a handle and you cannot scrape your grill while it is on.

It definitely didn't get the porcelain grates of my Chargrill electric patio grill very clean, but it got a lot of the larger, burned-on pieces. The main issue I had was with cleaning it. Once I had scraped the gunk off of my grill, getting the grease and gunk off of this unit was not as easy.

After cleaning my grill grates several weeks ago, you know that twice a year take them out and really scrub them sort of clean, I found a wire stuck in one of the little holes that are in the infrared grill grates. There has been many stories on the news about people getting wire stuck in their intestine from grill brushes and I thought I am very careful and this will not happen to me. After really cleaning the grates and finding this little wire in the grate my wife would not let me grill again if I was going to use a wire brush to clean the grates and not cleaning them was not the answer either. After looking on Amazon for a solution I came across this grill scraper. I was allowed to grill once, grates were really clean, then the next day the scraper arrived so I turned on the grill waited 5 minutes and used my new scraper. It works like a charm, it may take one minutes longer, but one minute is nothing compared to surgery to remove a wire. It works so well I prefer it over the wire scraper. Infrared grill tend to be harder to clean and this scraper makes it easier than anything I have used, including the scraper it came with. It is a quality scraper and I expect it to last forever. I thank this company for making a safer and a top quality grill scraper.

I originally bought one from Mr. Martin at the Franklin Festival and it was lost in a move. I was so pleased to find this scraper again because it does a great job!

Great idea to replace the brush that looses its bristles

I want to give this 5 stars. I love that the head is replaceable. That it has no plastic parts. It has a nice wooden handle and it’s easy to use. But, I have an O-Grill and the cast iron grate sizes aren’t uniform. Even with all the selections it doesn’t work in all the spaces and none of them work perfectly.That said, I still make it work, it’s not useless for me. Maybe they’ll offer different style heads in the future? If I had a regular grill I’d likely give this 5 stars.
