No battery , Poor sound
This mic doesn't comes with battery, how we suppose to test this mic if it doesn't have battery.There is no mentioning of battery on the website also.It catches lots of noise behind the mic. Don't buy this pic.

Very happy.
I have recently gone through six different microphones to get the sound that I require. I am pleased to say that this microphone is awesome.. good robust microphone.. absolute great sound on setting one. Just exactly what I was looking for and to be honest I should have done this from the beginning instead of going through multiple mics.I'm very impressed with the sound quality so if you are looking to buy a microphone at low cost price than this is definitely the microphone you need to buy?Five star ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Independently of the price, this is very good shotgun mic! I use it for my news report in various situation (out/inside), nothing to complain about!Now, if talk about the price... it's worth much more than what I paid it!

Micro Rode parfait pour mes vidéos avec mon camescope Panasonic et hybride.
Le son du Rode VidéoMic est parfait lors d'enregistrement de mes vidéos sur mon caméscope mais également sur mon appareil photo Hybride le GX8 (avec un adaptateur jack 3.5mn vers2.5mn pour le GX8). Le sabot du micro permet de fixer rapidement le micro sur un reflex ou sur une perche (vis en 3/8” acheter des vis d'adaptation 1/4). Le filtre est très utile pour les bruits de fond comme les voiture et il est accessible en façade du corps du micro. En revanche sur un reflex Nikon j'ai un léger bruit parasite en fond mais cela reste largement acceptable en réglant l'audio dans les paramétrés du Reflex. Très bonne conception du micro et un bon rapport qualité prix. Il faut une pile de 9 volts qui est à changer au bout de 70 heurs d'utilisation d’après la notice.
