adidas T-16 Treadmill

Sturdy treadmill that has most bell and whistles.Pros:1. Big running area (20x60)2. Did i mention it is really sturdy and looks well built.3. Cushioning system to help with those knees.4. Hydraulic system that helps fold and bring down the treadmill.5. Easy to assemble, comes mostly assembled you just have to screw a few parts.6. Works with ANT compatible Chest strap heart rate monitor, just in case you want continues reading.7. Two big cup holders on each side and has a slot for your IPAD.Cons:1. Heart rate monitor and fan are mediocre, but i guess for the price it is not that much of a con.2. The instruction manual for the preset workouts is pretty lame, Adidas should have really taken their time and promoted their product better by explaining it with nicer illustrations and instructions.3. With any big item you may have the problem with shipping, I did not have any issues but I did want to put it because it is an issue with enough people. But if it is damaged in shipping be aware that Amazon has a great return policy and they will pick it back up, you just have to box it again.Other than that, if you can get this under $600 it is a good buy, will update longer term.

So the product itself was a scheduled delivery. The guys brought it upstairs for me which is a feat in itself since this is an older house and the stairs are a pain. It took me awhile to put it together by myself. About 2 hours, but that was mainly because I kept slipping when putting the screws in. The instructions are basically just diagrams. But still very clearly able to follow. When you're connecting the wires, just make sure that you're feeding them through that small areas where it won't be compromised. There is a small switch near the power cord, that turns it on, which is not anywhere in the instructions. Once put together it took a bit to alight the track. The instructions are not very clear on how to live up the belt so I did the best of my ability on that. You have to let it run about ten minutes at 10 mph once you lu e it up initially. At first it was pretty loud, but once it was worked in a bit it did quiet down a ton. I was able to use it while my girls slept in the next room and it didn't wake them, and ones a pretty light sleeper. I do wish that when you fold it up that the front had some kind of wheels on it to move it. I can fold it up no problem, but can not move it to a corner so it still sits in the middle of the room. My room is big enough for what I need so it is not a problem for me. The display is very clear and bright. The spearkers work amazingly well. My only two main complaints on this is the heart rate monitor, it never goes past 74 which I can assure you my heart rate was around 140 with two different monitors on my body. The next one would be the fan. I specifically wanted a treadmill with a fan in hopes my room won't smell like a funky gym. The fans have just one speed and you can't feel them at all. I'm fortunate enough that it's right next to the window so I am able to open the window and let the Winter air in, but that will not help me much once Summer comes. It also has programs but nothing like a 5k loop or the likes of that. Over all I give it four stars, it would be five if the heart rate and the fan worked better. All in all I got this on deal of the day at an amazing price and I love it, but for what I spent on it and for what regular price is usually on it, I would expect the heart rate and the fans to work way better.

** 1 year update**After 1 year of use, the deck (running platform) has developed a significant crack if about 2 feet on the back 2/3 of the platform. Thusly rendering this treadmill completely useless.Granted, I only paid about $400 for this brand new and delivered. But, I still expected a longer lifespan than 1 year.I weigh roughly 230 pounds and stand 6'5" tall. The weight rating on this treadmill is roughly 285 pounds...so, I am WAY below the rating threshold.In the end, I suppose you get what you pay for. Save your money and get a quality treadmill.Great value for the price. Quiet and easy to set up. But, as others have mentioned, the heart rate monitor isn't accurate. This isn't a big deal for me as I use a FitBit with a heart rate monitor during my workouts.

easy install, works good but i don't like the control panel

This is a quality treadmill if you can get it for just four hundred and fifty bucks delivered like I did. I have a feeling that Adidas was either clearing these out or seeding their entry to the market (this appears to be their first treadmill and also new to market). The only thing wrong with it for the price is that the beeping noise wakes up everyone in the house. But I was able to cut the wire to the speaker. For those who have never used a quality treadmill, please note that it weighs a ton and is extremely large - you have the delivery guys put it where it will be assembled and then leave it there until it breaks. You will not move this thing too far (it does have small wheels that extend when the deck is up so you can move it on a hard, flat surface to some degree). For the money, the display is adequate and you'll get everything that you need without the bells and whistles that you'll find only on units costing at least a thousand more. The fans are absolutely worthless. For the money, this is definitely five stars!

Works great. It's just very large and heavy, but I knew the specs before ordering. I have one complaint, the seam is very visible on the track and is unattractive. I really like how this folds up so easily but since I do not have my treadmill facing a wall (it's facing the middle of the room) it really does not save me any room since the treadmill folds up to the middle of the room.
