This is an extremely nice teapot. Beautiful design and color. It is ceramic but is of very nice design and finish.Holds approximately 32 ounces. Has a fine mesh 2 inch tea screen. Heavy, and well made. Will last many years. It is dish washer safe. Lid is the same size as the top of the two tea cups that come with it and can be used to cover your tea cup if necessary. Retains heat very well and will keep your tea hot enough for three or four cups. The etched cherry flower and branch design is modern and goes well with the pale blue color of the teapot. The strong points of this tea set is that is extremely well made and sturdy and of nice design. Heavy enough and thick enough to retain the heat of hot tea and can be placed in the dishwasher when necessary,(minus the handle of course).. When tea is poured it will not dribble or run down the outside of the tea spout.The one negative that I can think of is that does not have a retainer lip for the tea lid, but I consider that a minor observation because of the overall design of the tea set. For some one who enjoys having a little tea once a day, then in my opinion this is the one to have. Not only do I used it everyday, I hace purch several sets as a gift to friends.

I love this soft color of green in this tea service. It’s a small set, but just what I needed to sit on my oriental table. What a tray that I also bought from Amazon.

Bought this for my daughter, she loves it. So cute and does what it is meant to do. The only thing is that box that it is pictured with... thought it would’ve came in that instead of brown box but oh well still worth it!

This set is perfect for a tea party/ceremony of any kind. I have used it a ton and washed it and it has no degradation on it at all. Fantastic craftsmanship as well.

I gave this tea pot to my husband for Christmas and he has loved it since. He uses it all the time and it is very easy to keep clean. The pot and cups are very appealing and he keeps them out on display. If you are looking for a tea pot with an Asian flare, this is it.
