Product description Milk Thistle: is a plant that can grow up to 1.5m, with white marbled leaves, purple flowers and large flower heads. It owes its Latin name, "sylibum marianum", to the Virgin Mary who nursed the baby Jesus for the first time under a thistle grove to escape Herod. A few drops of her milk fell on the leaves, at the origin of its white veins. Its use dates back to antiquity, Pliny the Elder recommended that it be consumed in juice mixed with honey.
