Does this wick for the kero-sun radiant 10.    It's the square style heater not the tall cylindrical kind

It might fit or it might not.  The package says the AW-10 will work, but it seems that Kero Sun made two versions of the Radiant 10.  If your heater's existing wick doesn't have three short metal pins poking out of it, then the AW-10 wick will indeed work.  If your existing wick does have the pins, then you will need to buy an AW-11P wick instead.  The pins are used to set the wick to a safe height so the flame will go out when the safety is tripped.  An AW-10 wick can be trimmed a little as it develops a crust on it (if you want to mess with that kind of thing) but the AW-11P cannot be easily trimmed.  Be sure and do a bump test on whatever wick you install to make sure the wick is set to the right level and everything is working correctly.  --John

I'm not familiar with that brand, or is it a model of another brand?  If your current wick has three 'pins' on it it definitely will not work.  But the AW-10 does fit many other types of kero heaters. Noooo...  Why do you need pins?Well, now you got me to thinking.  To wit:  If you are attempting to adapt this wick to an off-spec heater that it "almost fits", please think again.  If still convinced that the substitution is necessary, please proceed with caution!   These "stupid low-tech"(fnord) kerosene heater wicks are actually engineered with the greatest of care as regards composition, weave and consequent fuel flow rate.  Get it wrong and the experience can be miserable at best - and devastating to your and your family's health (including the dog/s and/or cat/s) at worst.  (The canary and/or parakeet will tell you first, BUT.)If some manner of pin is needed to fit such a wick as this to the kerosene-fueled appliance of your choice, I for one would not ever stand in the way of the experiment.  I am not a Gummint Reggillator!  But please verify correct operation of said appliance, post-installation, in an utterly well-ventilated area before bringing the completed assembly indoors for your family etc's comfort and enjoyment.  Please do as suggested in this regard, my friend!Fact is, any manner of "pin" that might be needed to hold any such wick in place can readily be fashioned to suit the purpose right handy from 1/32" (0.03125) diameter stainless welding rod.  This material can be obtained from your local hardware and/or welding products supplier by the use of ordinary hand tools and maybe a rotary grinder to finish the sharp end.  That fine stainless steel alloy reliably stands up to intense heat without scaling or corroding itself into place.  It's handy wire for many other purposes too - makes a dandy "cake-tester" for all manner of baked goods, just for one example.Just first be sure to stay safe while being clever, please.
