I have used several brands of earplugs over the years for sleeping. These are by far the best.I have a noisy family, and I live in a place with a lot of birds. Previously, I was using shooting-grade earplugs for sleeping. In this review I will be talking about why sleeping earplugs will work better, even if they have slightly less noise cancellation.Shooting earplugs work great for blocking noise, but not for sleeping. They use a very stiff type of foam that will crinkle in your ear if you sleep on your side and it moves around or gets compressed by anything, like if it's sticking out of your ear and touches the bed. They are very firm and will put so much pressure on your ears that it can be painful and wake you up, and leave your ears sore the next morning. All of these issues get worse as they get older. Plus, all types of foam tend to deform and bloat in size really easily if you reuse them long enough, which makes foam earplugs very uncomfortable if it is a firm type of foam.Sleeping earplugs have NONE of these problems. The foam stays soft, even when it gets well-worn and bloated. There is almost no crinkling at all. Firm earplugs will crinkle for a very long time (10+ minutes) after compression. This is because the firmness makes them take a long time to regain shape. These soft ones regain shape almost instantly, and I only hear crinkling for 15-30 seconds after significant compression.Although these block slightly less noise than shooting-grade ones, it is worth it to avoid all the problems that super-firm, shooting-grade earplugs can cause. As you would expect from 3M, the foam also seems very high-quality and hasn't had flaking issues like I had with some other brands.These are perfect to wear for long periods of time. I can easily wear them for 10+ hours without feeling any discomfort.

Its a great product for those looking to sleep without being awaken . it definitely adds deeper sleep . very comfortable on the ear and it can last up to a week

I've been a light sleeper for most of my life, and have used these 3M earplugs over the last 5 years to help improve my quality of sleep. Overall, they do an excellent job of reducing noise levels while still providing a soft and comfortable fit that doesn't leave you waking up with sore ears. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because of the quality control variances in the earplugs. Some of the earplugs in the bag are slightly smaller than the rest, and others don't have foam that bounces back into its original shape quite as well. The end result is that the first two earplugs that I grab out of the bag may not provide the correct fit for sleeping and have to be thrown out while I search the bag for the ones that I'm looking for.

I love these. super easy to insert properly in ear and once expanded cut out the majority of noise. I use for camping to help ensure that the early morning birds at 4am are not waking me up depriving me of beauty sleep.

This is my 3rd time ordering. I've used these earplugs basically every night since 2021. They're soft, can be reused, and if you ask my cat, double as a great toy 🙄 lol.

Got these to help protect my ears while in small clubs listening to bands that play loudly. No ringing in my ears at all after the gigs. I could still hear the music just fine while ear plugs were in my ears.

Works for small ears like mine and helps to lower the volume of loud music at the gym

Previously living in NYC for 10+ years surrounded by the 2nd Avenue subway construction out my windows for years on end, I desperately wanted anything to help me sleep. From melatonin to Bose Sleep Buds to wax, I've tried everything. I tried other disposable earplugs as well and nothing quite seemed to work.(Bose Sleep Buds felt invasive and felt the impression that I was being monitored through their app. Ear wax ended up getting stuck in one of my ear canals and cost $2oo to remove. Melatonin works though doesn't help BLOCK OUT noise.)It's hard to get any rest and BLOCK OUT noise when there are also some chatty neighbors, at times.... These earplugs finally did it. They're not completely noise canceling though they did mostly work. They stayed in throughout the night. They weren't uncomfortable. For being highly sensitive, I'm so glad that I finally found something that 🙌 works! Well, well worth it.
