No there's add ons for this game. But it is difficult to find matches so it takes a while to go through the entire game.

Q: Family is ages 8,11,13,14,17 + adults. Is this too childish for them?

Absolutely not. I can wholeheartedly recommend it for your age group. Our entire family from ages 5 through 65 loves playing it on family game night. Let me assure you that the 5-year-old wins more than his fair share of games.
