These say 5 d(m) usa, that means men's 5?

mine were size 5 womens, size 3 mens

Does a (M) 9.5 mean its a womans 9.5? Or a males?

i can see why you would ask the question on this particular shoe. the sizing i see has all different sizes to choose from. If you scroll all the way down you will see where it says 9-1/2 womens is a 7-1/2 mens. That is where i would begin. I have had the problem of figuring out who is selling what shoe. So whatever size you order if you choose to order from these people try it out and when you receive them if they don't fit send them back because you will know at that time which correct size to purchase. Yes, it is an inconvenience, but i did go through it a couple of times and you will also find as you're doing that you'll find different prices from other sellers like much lower than you have been charged in the first place. This may not have helped. but maybe it did.
