Used this to make a flag, it's now at best pale peach after only two weeks outside. The black I purchased with it has stayed solid.This fabric is rather stiff - which suits kites but not some other uses. That might be useful to someone. The weave is also rather uneven with the ripstop lines far from orthogonal. Just don't choose this colour.Photo is of a polyester fabric of the same colour, a fresh piece of this emmakites product showing it arrived the right colour and then the flag that's been out for two weeks.

Nothing like the picture. Colour is a pale and ugly peach.

I bought this to line a set of bikepacking bags whose original water proofing had degraded. Waterproofing isn't really a key factor with these bags anymore, but I am sure the ripstop will be sufficient to keep light rain or splashes off the contents. The bright color will also make it easier to see what's down at the bottom of the big bags. I also have enough extra yardage I might decide to make a few extra frame bags in custom shapes for our tandem if I feel like sewing at some point. I did a fray test on a cut strip of the fabric last night, trying to get a thread to separate, and it really took an effort even to get one thread loose.

Ok.. mom had a non invasive spinal fracture, good news... no paralysis. Bad news... back is put together again with rods screws and hardware...Fortunately, mom has had an adjustable bed ala hospital bed... bad news... she could not wiggle or scooch up into it like she used to...Enter this fabric... mom sits on edge of bed... lays back and I can firmly maintain spinal alignment and lift her feet and turn them.. Her behind serves as the pivot point, and I am able to help her get into the bed with no twisting -- just sliding her across the top.. good atuff...Allowed us not to hire a live in aide or use a nursing home/rehab hospital... which in covid days is quite literally a life saver.
