Ideally sized for wall mounting
I bought this for my mum who is a Christian. I also put it up for her on the wall in our lounge / diner. It has one mounting hole about 1cm from the top.It certainly stands out! The dark rosewood contrasts well with our magnolia wall paint. The fairly slim thickness means it doesn't bulge out, either, so it's quite discrete and I don't think it makes the room look smaller.It is very good quality; the finish is smooth, the edges rounded and it has a natural look, as if it was machine-cut but hand-finished. It's formal, but also informal, which I wanted because I didn't want to transform our house into an Anglican church!Finally, for this price, I would not look anywhere else. It surpassed my expectations as soon as I took it out of its packaging. Big, bold and beautiful.
