Seems the reviews here are iffy at best, in my opinion
Time to do this case a bit of justice. Seems the reviews here are iffy at best, in my opinion. Hope this clears things up for people (no pun intended).Quality of plastic: Better than XCM's cases for the original Xbox, and just BARELY under the quality of an official Microsoft case (to be fair, I am comparing it to the Halo 4 edition-- the only clear case officially released)Difficulty of install: 7/10. There is more to the install than JUST taking a case off and putting one on. I have to say that because some of us (including myself) think "Hey, I know how to take these apart. I can put one back together no problem." Well... The complicated part is, you need to remove the power button (the ribbon cable AND the actual plastic button) from the original case and put it on the new case. This is tedious and is not for the faint of heart. It's also not ideal for those of us replacing a Limited Edition case. So if you have one and plan to buy this case (or ever feel like switching back to your old case), buy an original replacement faceplate and rob the power button from that instead.Case fit and feel: No doubt, it's a tight fit. You have to apply more force pushing the pieces together than the original. You *can* trim a little bit of plastic off the hooks/clips to make it snap together easier, but do so at your own risk. I personally opted to do this, and now it fits much better for me.Clarity and transparency: Some clear cases are a little foggy despite being "clear". Not this one. The smoke color is crystal clear, however it is a bit dark of a tint. In standard room lighting, when you look at the put together case, you can glance at it and not know it's translucent. However if you hold it up to the light, or light it up with the included light kit, light easily shines through it. Although it's dark, it's not too dark.Completeness: Aside from the previously mentioned power button issue, this case covers every base except for the rubber feet. Expect to either transfer feet from your old case, or try to find aftermarket feet from an online retailer. Despite this minor complaint, remember that the case IS entirely translucent, including the top and bottom vents, as well as the hard drive cover! Personally I find this to be pretty impressive. The spring action on the hard drive cover is on par with the original. I should also note here that the back AV panel plastic is also translucent. Hell, even the fan shroud is translucent! The fan shroud is an extra in my opinion-- they had no obligation to include it as technically speaking it's not part of the case itself. Conclusion: this is a perfect case for the translucent case fan and the fearless modder. If you give up easily, or are scared by minor challenges, this case is probably not for you. Personally, I love it!

Before You Purchase, Please Read This...
Difficulty: Looks simple but tedious. My take you longer than it looks with the extra work you will have to put into it. Otherwise intermediate level of difficulty. What I liked:1. Once together and the lighting is installed it looks fantastic.2. Plastic is durable and scratch resistant. I had to reopen the shell and had 1 clip that didn't want to release in the back. I had to apply more than average force to try and break the clip but it never broke. It just released itself and amazed me. The plastic reminds me of a hard rubber more than ABS plastic. What I didn't like:1. Some of the parts require trimming excess plastic from the mold.2. The end pieces would not fit or snap into place. I had to use the original ones.3. The top shell is missing a place for one of the corners of the end pieces to snap to, (hard drive side). The shell wasn't properly cast and molded to allow this. I have now one corner that pops up due to no place for the clip to snap to. Also I had to reuse the end pieces that came with my original shell since the ones provided were not properly molded to align and snap into place in general.4. No foam provided to the fan guard to help funnel airflow.

Good Product
This case is really cool looking on my Xbox 360. The plastic seems to be durable. The only thing that disappointed me about the product was that when ordering it the pictures shows the colors as (blue, green, and red) and you do not get an option to pick what color you want. Mine came with blue thankfully. I think the product needs to say what color lights it comes with. Also, there is NO directions on how to install anything or how to take anything apart. So, if you have never done anything to your Xbox I would recommend watching a video on YouTube on how to take apart Xbox 360 and how to install GhostCase. FYI there are a few things on the Xbox 360 that are tricky to get apart.

It's ok
This product is ok, but I don't think its worth the money. As others have said this case states it comes with blue, red, and green LEDs. However it in fact only comes with blue LEDs. Also I would like to state that the pictures show that is a clear case. That too is incorrect, if I had to say it's more of a black case which the inside can't be seen clearly until it is turned on and the LEDs are on. Overall this product looks great and was a fun install. Recommend if you don't mind blue LEDs and a darker case.

Assembly Instructions Not Available
Kit did not come with instructions for ribbon attachment and Ghost Case website no longer has the assembly instructions on their site. Assembly was very frustrating without them. Also the tool supplied to take case apart very flimsy and not useful at all.

Missing hardware?
Case arrived quickly I had no problem assembling, but the set did not include the three tiny screws to mount the power button little disappointed considering the price.

... into some problems with installing the lights in the recommended area of the case
Ran into some problems with installing the lights in the recommended area of the case. I had to find an alternate location. Screwing the case together was quite a task as the holes or threading were faulty. I can't imagine myself opening the case for some reason ever again.

great case but some skill needed
Great case but it is a bit difficult to install as the screw pegs are not per-threaded to the xbox360 long pin screws. As a result of this it can result in stripped screws. But after the case is properly installed it is amazing to look at and is beautiful to look at when lit up. Also the light kit that is sent with the case could be a but better shielded other then these small discrepancy the case is great.
