初心者の私にとってはまだまだ…旨く使いこなせないですが、コツを掴むといい音が出来ます。早く使いこなせるようにしないと…ただマウスピースラバーが硬いので、なんとなく力が入ってしまう感じになります。

Awesome, awesome mouthpiece. I was hesitant to buy this piece online because of the risk of receiving a dud. But the facing is accurate and the sidewalls, tip, and table are impeccably done. This mouthpiece sings and even screams when you need it. These lakeys have a reputation for being loud, bright, mouthpieces and that’s very true. But I also achieve a warmth and husky sub tone that I’ve fallen in love with. When you really push your air you can get a focused and bright sound that’s perfect for smooth jazz, funk, modern jazz, and rock. But the true beauty of this piece is its versatility. I bought the 4*3* and it’s truly awesome. Free blowing and responsive. At this price I’m amazed, it easily competes with high priced pieces. I did have trouble finding a reed though. Right now I’m with Rico plasticovers in 2.5 and the combo is rockin’. In a concert ensemble you’d be in trouble, but for the fun stuff look no further. Only reason I give four stars is because I’m not sure whether I should have received the compass ligature with it. Others say they had and I did not. That aside I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone!

I love this mouthpiece, it delivers a very good projection and a beautiful sound it is everything I need for alto lead in a section and Big Band gigs.
