Listen... I've lived the $7 collapsible laundry hamper life. When I graduated and got my first office job, I thought, you know what, it's time to be an adult - and what does that mean? Separating my laundry.I wasn't sure if such a hamper actually existed, so I googled "separated laundry hamper", and lo and beyond.As adults, we are able to curate the items in our life - and a laundry hamper is no different. Sure, you change get by just fine on ugly mesh cubes - but they fall apart in months, and they tend to overflow, and because they look ugly and college-y in the first place, I found the standards of cleanliness for my closet - and by extension, bedroom - were lowered.I took a plunge on this hamper, and I have never regret it. In fact, when I moved cross country and had to leave this hamper behind due to lack of space in my car, I missed it so much I ended up buying a second one. I, who am not a rich person, have bought a $70 laundry hamper twice in my short life. It means that much to me.This hamper is beautiful. It smells good. I experience joy when I lift up the little wicker flaps. The bags inside come out and you can carry them easily to the wash. They hold the perfect amount for a full load. I don't have to worry about separating my lights and darks. It's easy to keep track of my clothes. And since the lid stays closed, my closet stays clean. With this hamper, I respect my clothes and the cleanliness of the space around me.(I swear to god - once I used this hamper in a job interview when asked to sell the interviewer on my favorite object, and I got the job.)I truly believe this hamper was the mark of adulthood for me. It was a huge step in becoming an organized person who values their belongings. It's more than a hamper for me, it's a symbol.Real talk, they do need to sell the bags separately, because the velcro does tear off after awhile. I think this time - my second time around - I'll give them another pass with a sewing machine myself.That being said, I would highly recommend this hamper. If you're ready to elevate your life, to graduate from s***ty fabric hampers to this beauty, you should absolutely do it. It's an object you'll use every day, so why not make it well curated? Do the right thing.

After only ONE washing the two canvas liner bags shrunk, albeit modestly, but when combined with the small weak Velcro tabs that fit and hold the bags together in the double hamper, it becomes impossible for the bags to stay in place. And instead, after only one washing, the canvas bags pull apart from each other and then collapse into the hamper under the weight and volume of even a small amount of laundry. I wouldn't have written about this problem if it had been possible to buy reasonably priced replacements for the canvas bags, but I can't find them for sale anywhere. It seems this would be solvable if the manufacturer had only pre-shrunk the canvas liner bags and/or used stronger or larger Velcro tabs to attach the two adjoining canvas inserts.

I love the look of this hamper like absolutely love but for some reason on two occasions I have had defective items come in. First time the flaps didn’t align properly and so it wouldn’t open and close correctly. The replacement for that came a week later with one of the flaps completely dented it I didn’t even take it out of the box. I just want a good looking piece. Hopefully third time is a charm if not unfortunately I will be looking elsewhere. Beautiful item poor construction and packaging.

Ordered these to fill the empty spaces of my under-the-TV-shelves where I keep all my knitting parafenelia and it works perfectly. They were the only baskets I could find whose measurements fit the available space, they assemble in a snap and have a very neutral look. They are light weight and probably not designed to hold anything very heavy, nor should they be used for carrying, as the bottom rests on simple short wire hoocks. Ordered 4 of them first and then decided to add two more. Can recommend

Really happy with this hamper! Very good value, although only time will tell how sturdy it is. Each side fits about a full washer load (standard household size).

This hamper is definitely an upgrade! I was sick of staring at my old plastic white hamper. After a few days of browsing online, I found this gorgeous hamper. The price was right and I was ready to throw out that ratty old white hamper.After a week of using this hamper, I haven't been happier. Roomy, sturdy and great to look at. The handles on the side make it easy to move around. It's well built but light. My fiance and I go through a ton of clothes a week, but it hasn't overflowed. We both love the neutral clean look it brings to the bedroom.The cat loves it as well. He sits on it like a throne.10/10 throne/hamper!

Luckily for me (and many other people), I'm using this basket as basically a drawer in a cube organizer. The baskets fit well into my Threshold cube storage cubes with little to no spare space on the sides. They fill up a little more than half of the height of cube, which I could see being good for finding low-profile objects (like video games or Blu-Rays). They look great. I don't see any damage or rough spots. I'm happy I bought them.I would NOT purchase these if you are using these to lift and carry items around. The reason I say that is because after "assembly", the whole basket can twist and turn because all connections (like corners) are hinges. The bottom is not fastened down in any way (unless I missed something?). So, if the basket is (emptied and) turned upside down, the bottom would come out. The bottom is only attached by a hinge on one end. It's not a problem for me, as I said, but if you were using it for heavy use and in multiple directions, this might be a problem.

this is a perfectly decent laundry hamper. I live in southern Alabama and haven't had any problems with moisture/molding. Each side holds one large load of laundry.Cat owners beware: my cat LOVES this as a scratching post, so I sweep away little pieces every day. It's taken a lot of abuse from him (yes, he has another real scratching post that he also loves), and it is still structurally sound but it looks pretty ratty. Now I'm looking for a hamper less attractive to the cat.

I've been looking for a better laundry hamper for a few years now... Everything i saw was way too expensive for junk. I was about to give in to one of those expensive pieces of junk then this one came along? For a few bucks more i got a nice-looking, sturdy, awesome hamper to fit in with me & my little apartment;-) FINALLY! The looking is over;-)Good luck & take care in this crazy world we live in...

These baskets are perfect size for my IKEA wall unit. They definitely don’t seem like they’d stand up to a lot of heavy things being placed in them, but I was seeking baskets for a decorative purpose...therefore I am satisfied with my purchase and bought four!

This is the nicest hamper i've seen online or in store. were really happy with it. the compartments are both a good size and its very convenient to sort out your laundry in the actually hamper. It comes up to about mid thigh and I'm 5'6 so its a good height and looks beautiful in our room.

It came fully assembled, ready to use.A few reviews mentioned the stripe look with light and dark colors. It definitely has that but I really like it.I would recommend this product.

Had the hamper for almost 6 months now, so I can do a proper review.This hamper is esthetically pleasing to your eye and fits beautifully in the corner of my bedroom. I carefully inspected the hamper of any defects and was pleased that the basket had none. No issue with the velcro on the laundry bags either.A reviewer mentioned a strong scent emanating from their hamper, mine also gives out a scent but I find it rather pleasant; natural woodsy scent. My fiance often loads the hamper with his dirty clothes from the gym and the scent from the water hyacinth hamper definitely helps with the odor!
