Worth every penny. We’ve been storing expensive coffee beans in ours for 1 1/2 years. It nice to hear the swish of air getting pushed out as you push the lid in. It works perfectly.

Good product; bit expensive. I'm using them for coffee storage and they are well suited to that purpose. I haven't been using them long enough to know if the seal will truly stand the test of time, but looking at it, I have a feeling these are mid-range 2-4 year investments, rather than, say, a 15 year storage container. I do like the design and functionality. As another reviewer noted, while it does have an airtight seal on top, it is not removing air from between beans; ergo, this unit is not going to provide the full benefit that a true vacuum seal would. For me this is not a big deal, since I go through a container of beans in a few weeks. However, it's worth noting this limitation, if you plan to store beans for longer than a month or two.It's really important to consider what size you need. A fluid ounce does not equal a weight ounce. Their 96 ounce container holds exactly two pounds of coffee beans for me. They do not sell a 48 ounce size, which would hold an even pound of beans, which is unfortunate. The two other sizes, 32 and 64 oz, will hold 2/3 and 1 1/3 pounds of beans, respectively. Please don't order the 32 oz size if you intend to store a pound of beans; it won't work. It'd work fine if you buy 12 ounce bags, though.

Fantastic product! Keeps my coffee beans very fresh. I purchased the largest one and should have gotten the next size smaller. I only put 10 oz of coffee beans at a time to avoid losing freshness. (I purchase my beans in 10 oz bags). They say you should store coffee in a dark container but I love the clear plastic and it doesn't seem to have a negative effect. I would definitely buy again!
